AndroHard alternative?

Hi --
I'm new to this forum and apologize in advance -- I'm not a bodybuilder. But I have great respect for the knowledge and insight on hormonal issues that you all have, which is why I'm posting this.

My problem is that I have been suffering from the effects of Propecia for 2 years now. No libido, no spontaneous erections, fat deposits, etc. I have consulted many doctors and specialists -- at one point (from Nov. 2012 until the end of last summer) I was taking testosterone injections (w/ Arimidex to control for estrogen). The first injection delivered a real result -- I felt sexually normal on and off for two weeks, then it flickered off -- but I felt *nothing* from every injection after that.

Consistently for the last 2 years my bloodwork has shown *very* low bioavailable T, low 3adiol-g, and high SHBG. The only exception came when I was on the T-injections -- bioavailable T shot up and in those first few weeks (when it was working) SHBG came down to normal range. But after that, even with sky high bio-T, my SHBG was high. Estrogen has consistently been in the normal range.

I recently consulted a naturopath and am now focusing on lifestyle changes to support my adrenal system. I've cut out alcohol, caffeine and processed foods and am basically doing a Paleo diet. I'm also resting for this month; my one sport for years was running, and I overdid it -- I ran every single day for year with no days off, and for the past 5 years I've done so even though my times have declined and my distances have gotten shorter. It's got to be overtraining syndrome -- so I'm resting for at least a month.

But when this month is over, I'm planning to return to a smart exercise program -- start some lifting and do sprinting once/twice a week. I also want to do some supplementing, which is why I'm here...

One thing I wan to incorporate is Tribulus -- with a high concentration of protodioscin. I've seen several people on the Propecia help board mention that they've been helped in their sexual symptoms by this, and two even claim it cured them (after a high dose for a short period. Another member on that board who claims a full recovery talked about the role of AndroHard, a DHT prohormone, and proper PCT. But the AndroHard he used is no longer on the market, and I can't find it anywhere online. So I'm wondering if anyone here can point me to a similar product -- does anyone have a sense of what comes the closest to AndroHard that's out there now? I'm also curious what you think proper PCT would look like after using it.

Again, I'm a novice in this area, and I apologize for the intrusion. But like I said, I think there's an incredible amount of knowledge here. Any thoughts or insight into the AndroHard question or my condition is general would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

HCGenerate ES is the best you'll find for libido. Specially if you have high Sex Hormone Binding Globulin levels you'll find the stinging nettle extract in the formula helps a lot.

Thanks for the reply. The effect on SHBG looks helpful to me, but my understanding is that stinging nettle inhibits the conversion of T to DHT? I think that's part of my problem, though -- propecia acted to inhibit that same conversion and messed me up. I think the guy who recovered partially through AndroHard was taking it to promote DHT -- maybe I've misunderstood this, but seems like this product wouldn't do that?

Are you still currently taking propecia? - if you are then that will always continue to be your main problem... Why not get real disciplined with Nizoral and Rogain and drop the Propecia... Got any prostate issues? What the doc say after he tossed the glove in the trash?

The active ingredient in Androhard was Androsterone, or 3α‑hydroxy‑5α‑androstan‑17‑o .....

That should not be hard to find with a couple of google searches bud. 300mg per day and rock....

Shoot me a PM with the products you find and I'll tell you who I think is good.

It should not be hard to find the original ProHormone and dose it at the same strength as the original product.

Thanks. Still learning how to understand all of this, but I'll look for that ingredient. The consensus on the Propecia Help board seemed to be that each of the alternatives is flawed in some way, but I don't know.

As for Propecia, I've been off it for 2 years. I'm trying not to live in the past, but I badly wish I'd never taken it. Saw multiple urologists, and they all said the prostate was normal. I've been seeing a neuroendrocrinologist (who seems to be out of options now) who believes that my consistently low 3adiol-G is a marker of having post-Propecia symptoms. But it doesn't suggest a specific mechanism or treatment to him. I'm learning more and more, but right now I feel like 5ar-2 expression is my problem. It was turned off by the drug and I've been stuck in a destructive loop ever since quitting -- low androgen levels.
