analyze my test levels!

pursuit said:
Your test levels are normal. I would suggest that you stop thinking about HRT. Be happy, confident, sleep well, eat well, get laid and be the man. Your test levels are affected by your attitude and I'm sure once you get the "I have low test levels" idea out of your head, your brain will start allowing your balls to produce more test

That's one of the better philosophies I have heard in a long time. LOL ~~

Peace,

Your T levels are NOT normal!

Listen, I've had his problem, except my levels were in the 300's. Now, I had NO sex drive, was UNABLE to build musle, and felt like SHIT.

I:

- ate a PERFECT diet, kept logs of all calories/fats/protien/etc.
- took in about 4,000 calories a day (with the goal of building mass.)
- took plenty of vitamins
- ran 4 miles three times a week
- lifted weights religiously

According to you idiots, I should have been a complete stud right? With boners every five seconds and a nice trim body? BULLSHIT. I didn't gain a single pound from excericse, and I had my sex drive was NON-EXISTANT.

Three years later, I'm on HRT with testosterone. No tits, no hairloss, none of the crap you're so afraid of. Those are symptoms of someone that ABUSES horomones, NOT someone who uses them to fix a problem in their body.

Seriously, I don't want to hear another fat old moron bitch at some young guy with the "you are super healthy because YOU ARE YOUNG!" or the "it's all in your head, you silly walking boner!"

If he felt okay, he wouldn't be concerned with his T levels. Since he doesn't feel OK, and he's that young, something is wrong with him.

I'm now 23.

And for YAP -- I had my free T tested many, many times. No matter WHAT level of free T I had -- which was up to 4% of my total T -- I experienced no subjective benefits. YES my estrogen was kept in line, and YES so were thyroid, prolactin, cortisol, and everything else you can imagine. My blood tests were EXTREMELY comprehensive. Almost 13 vials taken each time, and the bill around $2,000.

Hey Jamie, good post

Yes, levels in the 300s is low, but alwayson's level of 593 is not. It is slightly below average. 50% percent of the population have below average testosterone, its nothing to feel panic about. My point is that with the right lifestyle and attitude he can possibly push his levels to 600s or 700s.

My personal story is that I got it in my head that I had low test. levels. I felt like less of a man. I went to a doc and he told me I was bang in the middle of the range. Ever since then I decided I would nurture the right attitude and lifestyle that would help my testosterone levels. I said "Fuck this shit, I'm the man", and haven't looked back.
There's NO doubt in my mind that my attitude of "I have low test levels" was actually detrimental to the actual levels.

I'm not denying its possible to be truly hypogonadal (which you are) but I don't think alwayson is.
