Now come on...... if this were all true, then why all the complaints about equal rights and how the gays are being oppressed?

FYI - AIDS is rising faster in the hetero community than the gay world. Try explaining your logic to South Africa or Thailand. Depressed? Go to any AA, NA, SA, betty ford clinic and take a poll.

it's a good question...but bear in mind that seemingly EVERY group in america (women, blacks, whites, fatsos, etc.) complains about their "oppression".

i've never complained about being the victim of discrimination...and have never been overtly discriminated against.

Rising faster? Maybe. But the % of straight people with AIDS is nowhere near the rate of gays. As a straight man my chances of a lightning bolt striking my balls is greater than my chances of getting AIDS. In the USA AIDS is only a problem for gays and junkies.

Sorry... the complaints stem from the fact that many states still offer no employment protection for gay employees. So despite being vastly educated, a gay person can still lose their job simply because a red neck manager feels his position threaten or just out of spite.


Also, you can spend 20 years of your life with your partner, building a home, creating memories, loving and supporting one another, etc.. and if that partner of 20 years is in an accident or something, you can be barred from the hospital by relatives that he/she has not even been in contact with most of his/her life.

Also, you consider the upper class, cushy lifestyles that gay men, women lead..... the lifestyles of culture, wealth, good fortune, opportunity, and now think of all the unwanted children sitting in foster homes that gay couples can not adopt. Only a true sicko would think that a gay couple would try to molest an adopted child. It is well known that 99% of child molesters are heteros. But yet, gay couples can not share the luxury trappings with a child that is caught in unfortunate circumstances. This is why many gay couples have opted to adopt 16-17 year olds from Spain, Latin America, Asia and China. They visit, secure the visa's as international exchange hosts, bring them here and later once they return on a permit, start the adoption process. Claim that their insurance and such is only for immediate family members. Or that their family disowned them, etc...

If you think this, you are a great fool than I ever thought you to be. And I always thought you to be a big one.

Find the TOTAL population of people in America.
Now consider that one in five of that population is a homosexual.
Now find the percentage of heteros that are HIV+
Now multiply the percentage against the total hetero population.
Do the same for homosexual population and percentages.

Now tell me which side of the fence has more HIV+ cases.

Just a simple example. Let's say the total population is
1,000,000,000 and 1 out of 5 is gay. That means that the gay population = 20,000,000. If 30% of the gay population is HIV+ that (30% x 20,000,000) means that there is 6,000,000 HIV+ gay men/women.
Now let's say that only 9% of the straight population (80,000,000) is HIV+. That would mean (9% x 80,000,000) that a total of 7,200,000 heteros are HIV+.

A total number that is GREATER than the total number of gay HIV+ stats. It is a misconception to look at the percentage rate of HIV on a homosexual basis, simply because while the percentage number in the gay world may be greater, it is only being applied to a smaller percentage of the population. Where as a smaller percentage of heteros who are HIV+ may seem appealing, look at the TOTAL NUMBER of heteros that are HIV+. Much more than gays.


Actually, you and in your ignorance has a greater chance of contracting HIV than I ever will.
