Ambien Question

FOR ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED IT BEFORE.

My doc wants me to give it a try because I have such a horrible time sleeping and don't get enough sleep.

I'm planning on having a glass of wine or two with the dinner I'm about to prepare, then watching a movie (90min) then taking one (10mg) and going to bed.

Is it alright to have had a couple glasses of wine before taking it, and is 10mg the standard dose?

i dont have a prescription for it but i take it pretty regular. dotn have too much alchohol with it. it will make you sleep good for 8 hours and not feel groggy in the a.m. swam doesnt drink with it though. just be sure that you have the full 8 hours. i hear its pretty addictive but swami hasn't had any addiction problems with it.

i dont think ambien has any affect on short term memory. xanax on the toher hand is a different story.

some wine is ok. too much and you probably will feel like jelly in the morning.

My wife took it for awhile, but she never had alcohol with it.
I do know you have allow yourself to get the full 8hrs. This way you wake up not groggy and feeling great.

if u wan tot get the full benefits try to get some remeron it increases rem sleep and is a huge appetite increaser

i have both ambien and seroquel. seroquel will knock me out, but feel like crap in the morning.(have to have 8hrs) ambien i can take @ 10 be out by 11 and wake up at 6-630 feeling good. just dont take them every night . you can get addicted and work ur tolerance up quick. start with half a pill and see if that works.
