Am I too young to compete??

Look for the Clean Foods List in this forum. Those are the foods you should be eating.

You said you eat poorly (based on the pizza, etc) and when you're bored. You can't do that anymore. Eat every 3-4 hours to keep your metabolism up - and this part is not bb specific, it's how normal people should eat!

I left some comments in your other thread regarding calorie and protein intake. That isn't going to change, so you'll need that info.

What does your training look like now? Specific workouts with exercise, number of sets and reps per set - cardio as well. Do you have a book that you log your workouts in? If not, get one. I still have mine from 4 years ago. It's a lot of fun to go back and see what I was doing at that time and where I am now. :)

Gather up all of your info. Transfer it here or create your new bb thread and we can go from there! :)

the veterans here wil be happy to help you out; ask any question you need information for.

Thx, Mr.!!!! :)

A couple of other things.....

1) Tell me about your hands and feet and if they cause any kind of problems with being able to train with correct form.

2) What is your athletic background?

If you feel more comfortable not talking about #1 out in the open, feel free to PM me.

Yeah I found the Clean Foods List forum and it had a lot of great foods but 1 question I drink water but sometimes I just can't handle it is their something I could drink in place of it?

I do believe at your age you should focus on building your mass rather than dieting down for a show. EAT CLEAN and train, rest, drink plenty of water and as MM said, give yourself more time to reach your genetic potential before you consider performance enhancing agents.

Why not try a figure show first? You don't have to be nearly as muscular or nearly as lean to be competitive. You know, to get the feel of competition on your way to bodybuilding down the road.

As for making *a career* of it. Even the pros don't make their money from the prizes at shows. They make their money off of the endorsements. So until then you have to have "a regular job".

I love this advice. Gives you some stage experience, training experience and all of that. Love it.

I knew we kept bm around for a reason.:heart:
