Am I in the wrong here???

So I'm in the bedroom I've been here in bed for about 30 minutes online watching videos, listening to music, etc. Hubs comes in and immediately bitches about my music and wants lights out and quiet. I tell him to give me a minute and he tells me i should get headphones. I call him out for just waltzing in expecting me to drop everything and being a dick. He said i should be doing that in another bedroom because our bedroom is for sleeping.

I turned off my audio while saying "fine the damn thing is off, there!". Well he caught an attitude and said something along the lines of not having to take this and said he'd sleep in the living room.

That escalated pretty quickly... was 3 fucking minutes too much to ask? Am I in the wrong here?

I did throw in a "Ooo sleep in the living room, that'll teach me! I get to stay in here in my room" while he was leaving, if he's gonna be mad I'll give him a real reason.

It sounds like the dude was being a dick, or at least in a hella crabby mood.

Let him simmer and do the whole mature adult working-out-problems stuff in the morning.

Sounds like he already had a hair across his ass before he ever hit the bedroom and you got caught in the fallout. Either that or he's already pissed at you about something else entirely and this just tipped him over.

If the situation was reversed and it was a woman acting that way towards her husband I'd say PMS ... if I recall your husband is on HRT, right Nan? Any chance his hormones are out of whack? Overdue for a shot, taking too much or his estrogen is too high/low? Some people don't have a lot of personal insight at times, and men seem to rarely connect emotional swings with their hormones.

We pretty much ignored eachother this morning. Then i had a Dr follow up an hour ago with some really bad news so i went to tell him and we are back to usual.

next time he thinks he wants to sleep in the other room, here is what you do.


You piss all over a paper plate and put it in the freezer. Once it's frozen take the piss plate out of the freezer and remove the paper plate.

What you're left with is a piss puck.

Slide it right under the threshold of the door in the room he's sleeping in and go back to bed.


When he wakes up he'll step in a nice melted puddle of your piss.



This will solve nothing, but I will laugh.

It doesn't, I'd be the first I think, mine are bilateral and complex so the Dr is concerned. I won't get the result until Tuesday so I'm trying not to rake my brain

You have like NO risk factors and no first degree relatives. I'd be tempted to tell the doctor to take a long walk, some of them like to scare the shit out of people. There's a laundry list of things that mimic the symptoms, from IBS to PCOS.

Good thoughts and positive energy, my dear, but start looking around for second and third opinions before you let anyone do anything drastic, okay?

BTW, if I'd listened to the last gyno I went to I'd still be a suicidal insomniac experiencing five or more hot flashes an hour. They like to make you think they know it all, personally I think whenever they manage to deliver a baby without dropping it they start thinking they're infallible.

Wasn't the gyn who did the diag. I've had severe abdominal pain for almost two weeks now. I went to get checked out and they sent me a pelvic ultrasound as well as labs to rule out being knocked up. She also checked for diabetes, vitamin D, cholesterol and others. Ultrasound shows fibroids in the uterus and bilateral complex ovarian cysts, 2 and 3 inches. Apparently complex cysts are a red flag, them being bilateral is another, and the pain I have is another, to add to that I also developed insulin resistance due to the PCOS. I'm now pre-diabetic. Wonderful. Next stop is A. App with my gyn and B. wating for the CA test results.

Worst case scenario I have them giblets removed and dont have babies... :whatever: ;)
 
Don't get me wrong MM, I wish you are right and it's not a big deal, I've just always been one to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
