I had a internship in and around State College. They have some fucked up rules about buying quanities of beer. Like, you could only buy a 6 pack at a time. One time I wanted to buy 2 cases, so I had to buy it one sixer at a time...I had to walk the sixer outside before I could buy another one. Fucked up...but a great town. East Lansing is much better though.

just right in town the rules are fucked up! its like a twelve and a forty at a time, but then you can come in and out as many times as you want! but two minutes away, you can buy as many kegs as u want
