Hi guys I would you advice me on a good workout to build size in my upper back. I've been doing close grip pulldowns for a while but I don't see any changes, please give me some ideas and also on reps and sets, thank you.
You don't need a routine. You've kinda answered your own question. If the exercise you're doing now isn't as effective as you'd like do a DIFFERENT ONE
See I don't do much. When I bench (one speed session and one max session - 1 per week) I rotate 5-6 back exercises. One per session. Plus deadlifts. Also a LOT of my grip stuff works my back a little and my traps a lot.
Heavy bent over barbell rows
Wide grip chin ups
Deadlifts
Those are your 3 bread and butter back exercises. Make those a staple in your workout routine and you will get that Christmas tree back you are looking for.
