Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Alright so my source said that he would not ship to my addy anymore b/c my shipment never arrived. A friend of mine offered to receive the package which is very nice of him but he lives at a University where all the mailboxes are in a mailbox hall (no PO box though). He is the only one who has access to his box (except for the parcel service). Should I go ahead and have it sent there or should I look for an alternate route?

Make sure he knows the risks he's taking, and if he still wants to do it...go for it.
Or have him ship it to my unflagged addy.

Dood ... go into your yellow pages, and look under the work Mailbox ... there are tuns of companys where you can open a mailbox up. I have 1 set up that is $6/month, and I have 4 differerent names under it. I have a key where i can access it 24/7. Its the best way to go.

Yeah I don't know if I should ask him to take the package or not due to him becoming at risk. To open up a mailbox under a different name, do you have to present them with a fake id or do they not ask for that information?? There's a Mailbox Etc. 2 minutes away from my house, but getting a fake is something I'll have to work on.

as long as he knows he can go down or better yet if the postal inspectors get their hands on him they may use him to get to you to find out who is mailing the gear out

If you are a true friend, you'll greatfully thank your friend,
and find another solution. Dude, don't get your friend envolved...
How would you feel if you got him Expelled, and labeled as such...
Send it to your grandma or someone who has a regular address
and who understands not to get upset if Customs writes them,
because we all know you MUST just burn the letter and then,
that is when you can't mail to this address anymore.

I had quite a number of packages delivered to my University Residence. I never ever had a problem. I can't say I quite liked signing for packages (it was for their own internal system), or the ladies behind the counter saying I've been getting lots of packages lately. But I did get away with it!

Get a PO Box for like $15 for 6 months. Even if it is in your name it doesn't matter, I get all kinds of bullshit sent to my PO Box that is addressed to the PO Box but for people who had it before me. Just put a fake name on the package and if something comes up say it isn't yours.
