AAS and stinky breath?

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I have to keep my mouth extra clean lately b/c my breath smells like roadkill. Anyone heard of this due to AAS use? I'm stacking test enan, EQ, and Fina, and I've never had this problem before.

I never heard of that as a possible side. Maybe you aren't drinking enough water. My breath gets really rank if I don't drink enough.

Protein powders give me bad breath--I tend to eat them more often when I'm on gear. It could be the gear too, though????

Hummm.. this is a good question. I never heard of this before. It is quite possible. I know that when I take ritilin I get bad breath cause my mouth gets dry.

Use Listerine! Kills the germs that cause bad breath and fights plaque!

I don't think I've ever had a problem with the breath except when I get dehydrated. But, my GF says the B.O. goes up a notch when I'm on. I use a ton of deodorant all over my body when I'm on just so I don't smell funky. It's hard to get any booty when you smell bad!

AS's thin the blood and make it harder to clot. One of the side effects is that if you have a mild case of gingivitis (bleeding gums) possibly from not having your teeth cleaned in a while, your gums will bleed more than they normally would, which tends to cause bad breath.

Floss a little more and use a strong mouthwash like Listerine. That should clear it up.

Only when I did Fina transdermally. DMSO made my whole body smell like garlic.

Could it possibly be caused from the alcohols in the gear being transported from the blood stream to the lungs. Therefore, off-gassing of alcohols into breath air. Hence, bad breath.

Actually most steroids make your blood thicker as they promote red blood cell synthesis. My own red count comes back quite a bit higher when I am on.

I would say your diet is the likely suspect. If you are on a low carb diet you could be in Ketosis which you make you breath smell like ass.

Diet is probly the culprit, but I really can't say for sure.

I love mouthwash though. I always swish some around after my post-workout shake.

I think it is a combo of diet and fina.....a bro of mine had to quit fina from similar complaints from his wife.

My gf has rank breath, and the Dr. said that it could be due to her birth control(estrogen) causing an increase in YEAST. Not sure if this applies here with the gear you listed, but if your breath is as bad as hers, then you might want to look into it.
She took one dose of Diflucan and we're waiting for results.
