A woman should know

I am in a similar boat, but not quite.... I also have to figure out "what next" and I am a lot older than you. I guess it just goes to show that no matter how "grown" we think we are, life just has a funny way of "growing us" just that much more! ;)

My life has been through quite tumultuous upheavals... and I am in the midst of some of the most trying difficulties, but - I will find a path that is correct. So many of those bits of wisdom were so true.... If only I had seen them sooner.... but then again. We are often to blind to see things that are right in front of our noses.

We see them, I think, when the time is correct.

I should like the author (if it isn't too much trouble) so that proper credit will be given...
I agree. If I had seen this last semester, I don't think it would have had the same impact on me. Of course, last semester, things seemed a lot clearer to me and I had a definite idea of where I wanted to be. Then, it went all downhill and what was supposed to open so many doors for me, didn't open a single one. NOw here I am. I've got my whole life ahead of me and no direction at all. But the past is the past I guess. And we should only look forward. At least, that's what they say.

You have no idea how much the same boat we are both in...

The good news is that YOU and you alone get to decide what direction you will head. And if you don't like it, just change. *snap* simple as that. The time it takes to affect that change may not be easy to endure, but it most definitely is "do-able".

Never let anyone else decide your reality for you.... NEVER.

And looking back is not such a bad thing, that is, if you are doing it to help you put your future in proper perspective. Do not look back with regret. Reconcile your mistakes, learn from them, forgive yourself and move on...

FULL SPEED AHEAD!!! :supercool
