my diet had changed since I started my cutting and fat loss regime, I will be having carbs only in the morning an after work out, I need an advice on some natural foods I can have as dextrose sources, thanks..
If you are cutting and trying to loose body fat, dextrose should not be in your diet. Dextrose is the chemical name for glucose. It has a glycemic index rating of 100. In comparison, table sugar has a glycemic index of 73. Dextrose will cause a spike in blood sugar and an insulin spike - not what you want when you are dieting.
The best carbs to diet on are low glycemic index unprocessed carbs. They will slowly release blood sugar levels in the body and lead to stable insulin levels. If you are only having carbs at breakfast and after your workout, oatmeal would be your best option. I would have a serving of oatmeal at breakfast and some oatmeal and fruit after your workout. Oatmeal is a complex carbohydrate of long chains of glucose strong together with strong polypeptide bonds. It will slowly release glucose into the blood stream while your body digests it.
The only person who should really be using dextrose is a bodybuilder who is supplementing with insulin.
Yeah, dextrose is definitely not something what should be used by someone trying to cut, and who is not even using insulin. Stick to the oatmeals for your breakfasts - it is a very good carb source, and if you will mix in there some whey protein, they will taste great and there will be a better ratio of carbs-protein. That's what I always have for breakfast, and it works best for me this way.
whoever told you to use dex is probably a dumb meathead who injects his ass with insulin after every workout and drinks dex shakes and thinks that will work for you too. it will just make you gain fat.
I would opt for slower digesting carbs in your case. Go with something like oatmeal. After training you honestly don't need any carbs if you are cutting.
