A Big Thanks to the Asylum Crew

(I accidentally Posted this to the Training board, so I'll just repeat it here if ya'll don't mind )

It was about 4 weeks ago that I began hitting my Chain suspended GM's at 36" thanks to the constant repetition of seening Hannibal, Spatts, and The Project working at this height. The week before I began these my PR for Reverse Blue Band Deads was a very shaky and struggled 600. Then today(4 Weeks later) I nailed and easy 635 with what felt like another 30 at least in me.. But I had to stop there because my left Bicep was feeling a bit strained..

So I just want to thank you guys for basically drilling the idea into me till i finally tried them because I have no doubt whatsoever that my pleasant increase was due to these..

So again, thanks guys and keep up the great work and keep smashing those PR's

JD...glad that the GM's worked for you. We are going to do reverse band deads on Monday, and I am hoping for the same big PR's. Did speed deads after the Box Squats tonight, and felt pretty solid.

Good job...

well...I have been doing the standing gms at 44" with no bend in legs - flat back - very strict and my dead jumped 50 in 4.5 weeks...they good smart folks

Hey Spatts.. Definite Carryover... First week I hit 285 at 36".. Then Last week I was Up to 315 + 2 Mini Bands.. So I say a very positive carryover from the 36" GM to my Deadlift, much more than I was seeing from my 46" GM's.. Can't wait to see my Dead progress over the Next 4 Weeks...

Hannibal and Spatts, make sure you guy let us know how your new Dead PR's measure up in relation to your GM Progress..

Wow, very cool. I can come pretty close to keeping up with Hannibal on GM's, but his dead's way in front of mine.

My deadlift is all back right now, so I'm interested to see how I do once I get my hips and hams up some. Same goes for my squat--I tend to good morning the bar up instead of squat.

I've kinda been forced to use more hips in my deadlift ever since I blew out a couple disks in my lower back... I used to be stronger converntional till a freak squatting accident a couple years back when I slipped some disks.. Now I have moved my stance out to take some of my lower back out of the lift... And so far so good..

Project, if you don't already you may want to start hitting some deads sumo, they really nail my hips and hams hard..
