Boston Red Sox Vs. New York Yankees

- Divisional bragging rights will be on the line on Sunday when the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees meet at Yankee Stadium.

The Red Sox will pin their hopes on the pitching of ace righthander Josh Beckett in this game. Beckett has a 3-1 record and a 5.70 ERA this season.

Beckett's opponent in this one will be AJ Burnett. The Yankees righthander has a 4.93 ERA to go along with a 9-9 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Yankees listed as 135-moneyline favorites versus the Red Sox, while the game's total is sitting at 9.

Ramiro Pena drove in a pair of runs to help lead the Yankees over the Red Sox 5-2 on Saturday, as -220 favorites. That game's seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

John Lackey suffered the loss for the Red Sox, giving up eight hits and five earned runs over his six innings.

Team records:

New York: 68-41 SU

gonna take awhile to get used to a new rhythm.

Hope Rodriguez is playing today.

burnett is a scratch, but odds probably round the same since burnett is a fucking headcase

If the line changes, I still want the sox for 4 mil. IN before 8 :)

the ERAs for both are the almost the same, and both have .500 records. i don't see why the odds would change much if at all.
