6 month cycles

Whacked

New member
I assume you use Test as a base thoughout. Now: Do you bro's change up something every 6-8 weeks or add something here and there or change dosing? What is your methodology?

Thanks

Their is a cycle in the Anobolics 2004 book that is like around a 23 weeker (dont have the book in fron of me, but I have seen that cycle)
And Yes it changes up every 6 to 8 weeks

I've done a 7+ months cycle...this is what I did
Sust 500mg/week as a base
first 6 weeks I did fina 400mg/week with d-bol 30mg ed, then Deca and Eq at 400mg/week for 12 weeks, then winny at 50mg ED for awhile...Hcg throughout
Basically you run test and keep switching compounds every 6-10 weeks.

I would not recommend running anabolics for 6 months straight. You are just asking for problems. If you were to run a six month straight cycle definitely you will need to change things up. Not just on the steroid side either. You will need to switch to different phases during this period utilizing short durations of AAS, HPTA regeneration, cortisol suppression, and an anabolic time preferably with the use of HGH not anabolics. This will keep your body growing and not stablizing requiring higher dosages and more compounds as you get farther into your cycle.

based on?

We know that lipid values can change for the worse when higher doses of AAS are taken. Unfavorable changes in lipid values over time can be correlated to an increase in heart disease.

Some people do not experience much of a negative effect when given AAS while others might be effected a great deal. Depends on the person and the substance taken.

The only way to know how much of an effect it has on you is to have routine testing. This becomes more important the longer the cycle last.

don't forget hematocrit and red blood cell mass.

Nice post bro. Thanks. I do understand the negatives that come along with longer term use but as you yout self stated.......everyuone is different. I eat CLEAN as hell, my familial history does NOT favor heart problems of any kind, I stay relatively lean year round (225/11%) and I feel thius helps b/c I do not stress my body with horribly high water/fat weight gain from bulkers, and lastly I supplemenet with plenty of heart healthy supps as well.

whacked, the hematocrit and redblood cell mass are also problems with long duration cycles(or high dose cycles of any duration). You can get to much red blood cell mass and your blood flow viscosity will increase to an unhealthy level. Couple that with the lipids and its not pretty. If you are really suseptible, this condition can cause critical problems.

But if you do a 6 monyh cycle the idea would be to keep the doseages lower than if you did a standard timed cycle so you would not encounter these problems very readily. Regardless you should keep tabs on your blood chemistry to see.

what I've been doing, instead of staying on for a full 6 months, is running a heavy cycle for 3 months, bridging with var for 6 weeks, then back on for another 3. Its worked pretty well for size, and the time on var gives my body somewhat of a break

Sounds sensible!

Lil help bro.......

Do you do THIS year round?
Do you stay on Test year round/Are you on HRT?
Do you use HCG?

I have been doing this approach for close to a year. I'm not on hrt as i dont run test during the bridges. I use hcg at 500iu 2x weekly all the way through

Thanks for all the help

Hell, 6 months is generally a basic cycle for me, if not a year. Just have somebody monitor your blood work every 2 months or so and dont get carried away. My cycles usually consist of 500-750mg/week of sust, 600mg/week of Eq, both as my base. The only thing I will switch up is if I decide to add some tren here or there for a while. I have been doing cycles like these for YEARS and NEVER had a problem. If I come off, it will only be for a couple of weeks to run some clomid or HCG. One of the other reasons I do long cycles of 6-12 months is because I am an avid user of HGH as one of my base drugs also. HGH needs to be taken for at least 6 months at a time or you're wasting your time and money. I know some people say I am crazy for this, but once you reach a certain point in your training and the results you want to acheive, 6 months will not seem like a long time.

I hear ya. LONG lower dosed cycles along side GH is my plan from here on out. Thanks ;)
