Boston Celtics Vs. Los Angeles Lakers

- The Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers will both be gunning for a victory on Tuesday when they meet at STAPLES Center.

Oddsmakers currently have the Lakers listed as 6½-point favorites versus the Celtics, while the game's total is sitting at 188.

The Celtics defeated the Lakers 92-86 as a 2-point favorite in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Sunday. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under (189.5).

Paul Pierce netted a team-high 27 points for the Celtics, and Kevin Garnett added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 38 points for the Lakers, and Pau Gasol had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Team records:
Boston: 50-32 SU, 33-48-1 ATS
Los Angeles: 57-25 SU, 34-46-2 ATS

6.5... still, when you think bout it, pretty much under 9, I'm banking on Kobe, Pau playing well, Ron not hoisting up 3s, and Bynum, just being there.

I'm 1/5 in this series and thinking of taking the points.

I pulled a high and dry, walking on a wire bullshit move, and lost 10 million last thursday. Lost 4 million on Game 4.

Still, I was thinking, they will cover.
It's a must win, and I think Pau, will have a breakout game.
Kobe will be Kobe, and rule... count on that.

Fucking points. Still gonna have to go with Lakers here. Gonna go all in too. I have faith.

This game is damn hard to bet on as far as Karma for me.
Celtics could go in for the "The nail in the Coffin" tonight and finish it, yet the Lakers will bring their " A" Game tonight though.
Last time I did not bet on this series game, the Celtics won ; so thats what I am going to do, no bet for me. My gain/loss, we will see.
Celtics!!

Lakers by 10???????????

There is NO WAY they (NBA execs) are gonna take a chance on this one.....it'll be 10-12 for most of the game....Lakers might get it up to 20 for a minute....or Celtics might get it to 5-6, but for the most part a 10 to 12 point game....

it will be a tighter called game for sure, but it's gonna go both ways. you dont think the nba wanted it go to 7 games in 08?

Yes...and they also wanted to see the Cavs-Celts go seven as well...the one thing I've said they (NBA execs) CAN NOT control is how hard the players play....there's nothing they can do when teams roll over and die....

Hey...I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert....the main reason I went from 55 million down to 1 million K is cuz of these fucking NBA games....LOL

I think there's a good chance it goes to game 7, but not because of the refs. The Lakers are gonna come to play tonight.

I mean, nobody goes to a game to see the refs and it sucks when everybody is talking about the refs after the game....if the refs do call it fair and square tonight....which I HOPE they do...it has the potential to be a great game....and honestly I just want to see good, hard fought games...I'm in Chicago...

Solace for that 10 million loss day to back to zilch, last Thursday.

Oh Cane you are just hopin it all works out for you huh. Hahaha. Lakers big win tonight.

yes i am!

btw i cant root for the lakers to lose the championship, so im forced to hope they win by less then 7

I have had more luck on the NBA playoffs than on the World Cup.

So here we go.

My first 1 million K bet. On the Lakers, you have my permission to burn down LA if they loose.

kobe>jordan!

Most peeps will scoff at that statement. However, the fact that you can debate that, is tantamount to K.
I did not like Kobe till, I dunno 2009, now, I admire his stoic, demeanor. Listened to a ESPN columnist who was saying, as a teammate dude appeared childish in game 5, calling out his teammates. Hell, was dude supposed to be happy, with the rest of his team tanking? Who wouldn't be mad.

I like LA, big time in Game 7.

game 7 will come down to the wire. there's no way they get blown out again. boston has also not lost back to back games all playoffs, and have already won in LA.

Boston shot an awful 33% from the floor, and an even worse 21% from 3. That's not going to happen again. They didn't even shoot bad because of LAs defense, they were just missing open looks.
