UFC 84 takes place May 24 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn meets former champ Sean Sherk in the night's main event. Sherk was forced to vacate the belt due to a drugs row back in December, allowing Penn to take the title and then instantly vow to beat Sherk down for endangering the sport's good name.

slow fight....machida might have won the first round because of his little choppy strikes. second round slow....fight finally came up on sopcast....suckerrrrrz for everyone who bought the fight.

Round 1
The round was back and forth with Machida landing more leg kicks and being ahead, but Machida throws down Tito near the end of the round and lands a number of shots on the ground. Machida takes round 1.

Round 2
Tito and Machida basically dance for the entire second round. I give it to Machida on points, but Ortiz on willingness to fight.

Round 3
Tito attempts the triangle, but not enough to finish Machida. Machida takes round 3

Judges score a unanimous decision for Machida...
