LOL @ potential 2 time vezina winner being babied. he only sucked last year cause of a bad hip.

yeah he just played a shutout against one of the best offensive teams in the NHL

i just meant h eplays significantly less games than most starters, keeps him fresh i guess all year but didnt know if maybe hes not used to playin so much at such an intense level.

not really. he's 37 years old. and he's played about 10 games or so less per year than most of the top goalies in the league who are much younger. and that's mostly because he has a young, solid goalie behind him.

i dont really follow boston very much except for the 4 games the pens play them per year. i thought he was playing a fair bit less games though

i looked up the numbers of GP, excluding last year when he was hurt, and compared them to luongo and miller. it was roughly 10 games less per year. i should have added rinne, but i didn't think to until after i'd made my post. timmy is a young 37.. had a full career, but hasn't been in the NHL that long.

just looked up rinne, roloson and niemi. pretty much the same GP. also looked up carey price who played an incredible 72 games..but he is also only 23.

so of the vezina candidates and the remaining playoff goalies, he's pretty much on the same pace.

nice.. very nice

now if i could just start nailing basketball.. hockey seems much easier
