New Orleans can put an end to Lakers 5-game home win streak when they visit the STAPLES Center tonight.

The Lakers play into revenge Wednesday, after handing New Orleans a 105-94 defeat in their last meeting back on March 26, 2006.

The Lakers get a huge 11-point advantage as a home underdog. Los Angeles is 44-37, while the road favorites, who are 38-43 for the year, need to lay 11 points on the money line to take the cash. The total has been opened at 193.5.

After losing last time out, Byron Scott's team looks to rebound with a solid showing on the road Wednesday in Los Angeles. They were 7-point underdogs in that game, which went under the total of 209.5.

The Lakers come off a 109-89 win against the Suns, a game where they were 9-point favorites. The game went under the closing total of 214.5.

Some trends to consider:
New Orleans is 2-8-0 SU in its last 10 games after scoring less than 90 points
New Orleans is 2-8-0 ATS in its last 10 games after scoring less than 90 points
New Orleans is 2-5-1 ATS in its last 8 games
New Orleans is 3-9-0 ATS in its last 12 away games
Los Angeles are 7-1-0 OU in its last 8 games against New Orleans
Los Angeles are 4-1-0 ATS in its last 5 home games
Los Angeles are 6-2-0 ATS in its last 8 games
Los Angeles are 18-7-0 SU in its last 25 games after being 7.5 to 10 point favorites

fuck, 13 points

It's a must win for the Lakers to win the 7th spot. Losing means they'll face the Spurs in the first round. So I know the Lakers will come out to play, question is how much does NO care? Do they want to play the spoiler or will they bench their main guys and give the rookies and lesser played players some minutes in the last game of the season?

i messed this up, karma coming through the k store
