37yo My AAS Research Thread - Come In and Give Me Advice!!!

Hi everyone. This will be my research thread, where I can organize all of my questions and answers that I have gotten on taking AAS.

I am 37 years old, I have lifted on and off for the last 10 years. I am course interested in at some point going on cycles or just remaining on TRT for life.

I have been lurking here for some time, and I plan on lurking for a much longer time and just reading your guys's advice.

Let me tell you what my thoughts and possible plans are, and you guys please chime in and tell me how that fits with your experience and whether you think these are good ideas or not.

----

Like I said I have been lifting on and off for years. I don't compete, I just lift to gain and maintain muscle and for health reasons. I have no plans on competing or anything like that, everything would just be for personal goals, not for competition.

I had never considered using steroids, but after reading about the possible health benefits and quality of life benefits of going on TRT or blast/cruise, I am now researching and considering it.

MY PLAN is TO FIRST prove that I can stay on track with personal diet/workout plans BEFORE even considering a cycle. Even though I have been working out for a long time, I have not been that consistent. I'll lift for six months, I'll fall off for a couple months, I'll come back to it, etc. (I have home garage gym).

----

Q1: WHAT ADVICE/RECOMMENDATIONS can you give me about long-term blast and cruise or TRT???

From what I have been reading, blast and cruise looks enticing to me. Like I said, I would not be planning on winning any competitions, I would just like to see good games and be able to maintain good gains, and be able to keep things somewhat simple and somewhat stressful. Blasting and cruising, and not having to worry about PCT sounds like the SOMEWHAT easy route from what I have read. (I know TRT is only supposed to bring you up to natural levels, I would probably take 200 or 300mg test e/c/p on "cruise").

I do realize that if you go on blast cruise or TRT for long-term or for life, that means that you will be pinning for life; I realize this.

Q2: Steroid Powders - DO YOU USE THEM??? Do you create your own injectables using powders? What advice can you give me on going this route or not going this route?

Q3: Obviously plans can change once I get started, but my INITIAL PLAN is to go TEST ONLY; probably test e. I would probably go between 200-300mg cruise and 600mg blast. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION on going on a blast cruise of test only?

Q4: Give me your personal experience advice. If you are someone that has blast cruise or TRT for YEARS, I am ESPECIALLY INTERESTED in your advice.

Q5: HCG. In what ways is HCG used with blast and cruise? Do some people cycle it to keep the boys working?

Q6: AI's. If on blast and cruise, what kinds of AI's should be taken? My plans include taking AI's as a precautionary, rather than wait for any symptoms to react to.

Thank you for stopping in. And please give your best advice and please ask me questions as well.

Have you had your bloods done to see what your baselines are? Depending on those I would say 200 week should put you around 1000+ ng/dl. Start with bloods and see what your working with.

I haven't had blood work done. Once I have more concrete plans on sources for gear and AI's and I am committed to going through with it, I will have that done.

On 1000 ng/dl. Is this some known "magic level?" Does something special happen at this level?

I know I mentioned "TRT," I am not exactly just trying to mimic natural test levels, blast and cruise at lower levels is a better description. I just mean that I would likely prefer going this route than having to deal with PCT after every cycle. I am totally fine with having higher test levels than natural, so long as the levels I am at do not present overly dangerous sides.

Nothing magic about it .research normal levels for your age .on some charts this is considered high normal somthing like a 16 yr would have thus Making you feel 16 again in some ways I think most charts range from 250 to 800 . I am on trt and without it my last was 103 which is way low. When it goes low you will know you feel like carp, grumpy,no drive and countless other unpleasant feeling. Once you get it normal you feel better. In my case the higher it gets the better I feel . For me when I get over 1500 or so there is some aggression, more competitive, alpha feeling which I like but my doctor likes to keep me around 500 or 600 alot of doctors do not understand male hormone therapy and are cautious and afraid of it in some ways

Yes, do it, do all of it, and do it right, none of this "cycle" mumbo jumbo, you aren't 23 anymore. Only advice other than that is to join a gym, public one, Lotta people, skinny kids that'll make you feel big, big guys that'll make you feel small, and the women in the short shorts that keep you repping after it feels like its gonna pop. Home gym is too easy to skip, people crave motivation.

I agree with a good place to start would be to get blood work done. From there you will be able to see what your natural T levels are at.
