Edmonton (32-22-10) at Minnesota (30-28-7) 7:00 pm EST
ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- Goaltender Dwayne Roloson squares off against his former team for the first time when the Edmonton Oilers visit the Minnesota Wild on Sunday in a Northwest Division showdown.
Roloson was a fixture with the Wild from 2001-2004, going 56-54-26 while being named to the Western Conference All-Star team in 2004.
But the 36-year-old Roloson was just 6-17-1 in 24 games with Minnesota this season, posting one shutout, a .910 save percentage and a 3.00 goals-against average.
Less than a week after re-signing fellow netminder Manny Fernandez, the Wild on Thursday dealt Roloson to the Oilers for a 2006 first-round pick and future considerations.
Roloson has struggled in his first two games with Edmonton. He made 27 saves Saturday, but the Oilers dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Ales Hemsky and newly acquired Sergei Samsonov each registered a pair of assists for Edmonton, which has dropped six of its last eight and owns a two-point lead over ninth-place Anaheim (30-20-12) in the conference standings.
The Oilers hope to end their slide Sunday against a Wild team looking to rebound from a 2-1 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues on Friday.
Marian Gaborik scored the lone goal for Minnesota, which has lost six of its last seven.
