WELL THE RESULTS ARE IN. THE TOP 20 TEENS IN ALL WEIGHT CLASSES IN THE USA!!!!!!!!
IM A LITTLE BIT UPSET BECAUSE MY MEET IN DEC WAS NOT POSTED IN THE MAGAZINE SO MY BEST RESULTS DIDNT MAKE IT.
OFFICIAL LIST IN THE MAGAZINE HAS ME RANKED:
2ND IN THE SQUAT WITH A 655
8TH IN THE BENCH WITH A 405
14TH IN THE DEADLIFT WITH A 585
3RD IN THE TOTAL WITH A 1645
BUT........................................................THOSE WERE ALL IN APRIL 2001 BUT IF MY RESULTS WENT IN FROM DEC 2001 WHICH COULD HAVE COUNTED TOWARDS THE LIST
UNOFFICIAL LIST:
2ND IN THE SQUAT WITH A 699
4TH IN THE BENCH WITH A 429
14TH IN THE DEADLIFT WITH A 600
1STTTTTTTTTTTT IN THE TOTAL WITH A 1728!!!!

SO UNOFFICIAL I AM THE STRONGEST TEENAGER IN THE 220LB WEIGHT CLASS.

BUT I STILL GOT THIS WHOLE YEAR TO TRAIN HARDER AND MAKE IT AGAIN ON THE LIST NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!
 
great job mr unofficially the strongest guy in your weightclass in the US. I just happen to be the unofficial record holder in the 132 class for the teen (14-15)division in NJ..

1st in total with 790
1st in bench with 175 (pause, raw)
1st in deadlift with 335( raw)
2nd or 3rd in squat with 265 (belts and knee wraps)

one day i'll make it to where you are... your name really fits your description

we should have our own section for unofficial record holders

Yes it is a great job. Jimmie Dean has my PLUSA but i knew you were in there just hadnt gone through it all yet. Its a feat many cant say they have done.

Where would your bench and deadlift from this weekend put you?

Freak way to go man And people he really is a FREAK. I wish i could find out how I placed and did. one thing that already disappointed me today was there is a kid that goes to Santalucious down in west palm he's in the 165lb weight class and deadlifts 500 straight bar. So I see I have to work ALOT harder to get there. Hopefully I broke the state record i just have to find out. Freak if you can send me where you got that from or check for me it'd be great 16-17 division 181 weight class my best dead was 425 raw(with a belt thanks to GRIMM).
 
PLJay since i was in the 242's last weekend it would of put me 1st in the bench and 3rd in the deadlift. if i was in the 220's i would of placed 2nd in the bench and 2nd in the deadlift. but know im just getting ready for JUNE. there wasnt a TEEN all last year that totaled 2000 so this is the year that somebody does, and i just hope its me!
 
hey cubanito i didnt yoy already break 1000 total cause you pulled 425 and benched 250 in st.pete and i think you said you squat 335 or something around there. in that case your total is 1010 so you already beat your goal and now shoot for 1100. you wanna make sure your goals are realistic and trust me 1100 is just around the corner for you. but you just wanna start small. cause remeber you said that you totaled 950 and said that you wanna break 1000 well now you beat 1000 and now go for 1100
and when you beat 1100 go for 1200 and so on. i know you can do it. Let me know what your squat is as of now?
 
how can you guys total so much??? i barely total 800 raw in my gym lifts.. in my contest lifts im like 755 raw ... so 1000 seems like a long way away for me

also, how can you guys break so many records?? you make it seem so easy, like its just another days work to go and break a pr, starte record and even go for the world record

Deciever i have always been a big person and i guess strong also. i have been lifting weights since i was a freshmen in high school. and i started powerlifting in the summmer of my senior year. the first time i ever deadlifted i pulled 470 for 1 with no straps just chalk at 190. so im just one of those guys that are gifted. know im pulling 660 at 235. and i have to live up to my name of being a FREAK!:D
 
damn! 470 for 1 at 190.. thats better than most people who train for a while.. i started off deadlifting 135 at 95 lbs.. i was weak! and you definately live up to your name
 
Thanks freak I never looked at it this way, well right now I don't know a max squat for myself since the meet I havn't trained and I'm not going to until hopefully monday. I've been sooo fuckin sick it ain't funny I've dropped weight and all so that's not a good thing and I do feel weak. Either way I can't remember what I started pulling I believe when I started back in november 2001 it was like 275 or something at 168lb bodyweight and at the meet i pulled 425 at a 176bodyweight.
 
thats a nice increase in your deads when you only put 8lbs to your bodyweight. Just give yourself sometime, and you will be breaking records in every meet you enter!
 
Thanks bro it seems like you already have that problem or should I say honor of breaking records every meet you go too. I know for deads most likely I will break some more records. But the one I'm stil focused on is totaling more than 1455lbs by the time I'm 19 in 181 weight class. So I think i'll achieve that and break the world record. After I do this then I'll most likely join the BIG BOYS in the 200lb+ club.
 
No I meant 200lbs weight wise. After I reach the goal i've had for a while and hopefully i'll be achieving this soon i think within the next year like 2003 or so which is to break the APA world record for teen division like I said and that's the 18-19division in 181 weight class. After i do this then I'll be competing the in the BIG BOYZ CLUB like 220lb class. If I could put on that much weight if not then i'll settle with the 198 weight class.
 
well ill tell you cubanito those two weight classes are the hardest ones. ive done them both (198,220) there are some strong guys in those weight classes. but thats good cause now you have something to shoot for. if you can stay at 181, i would stay there till at least till you learn more and get your feet wet . cause 181 is also a good class to be in
 
DAMN I never thought about it that way. your right there were more 220's and 242's there than anything and I know 198 is WAY harder than 181. Well I know how to drop weight quick before a meet by carb depleting and I know I can stay around 190- for training and stil do good. Right now I don't even reach 180lbs and I'm doing good so I think I will stick around in the 181 weight class as long as I can. Thanks bro i never looked at it that way.
 
No Problem! yeah u should just stay in that weight class till you get alot more stronger and then go up to 198's! or you can go back and forth with both weight classes. cause im gonna do that. in june im gonna do the 242's and in dec i might go down to the 220's. its just trial and error!
 
Too bad I won't be there with ya in june although i'll be doing the july 20th meet and then december. Bro when are you gonna be 20 b/c when you turn 20 then u start competing in juniors division and if you better see what weight class most of those big guys and JAY are gonna be in. That's some advise from me if JAY is doin 242 try and go 220 you prob have a better chance. I know I'll be in 181 for a while maybe when I'm 19 i'll do 198 or so, depends if I can stil make weight for 181 then WHY NOT!!!!. Good luck in june
 
junior division is from 20-23 and mens open starts at 24 i have a long time to train till i get to mens open. and besides i already comepete in mens and teens. i enter both divisions, i do the teens to win and do the mens for fun. in june im gonna compete against JAY. me and him are both gonna go in lookin to do the samething. im not gonna worry about the juniors till i turn 20 cause wright now this is my last year in teens and im gonna do as many meets as my body will let me, cause trust me when you turn 19 your gonna feel the same way.
 
Aigh bro I thought the open meant like open for anyone I didn't know it was also an age division. And I whoever goes against u in teen might as well settle for at least 2nd place, cuz you whoooop ass in it. I'm sure you do good in mens division too. Well that's why I wanna do the most meets I can right now as a teen, b/c I know I can do pretty decent as long as theres deadlifts there. I have 2 more for this year planned out july and december. And of course I have my high school meets, but I might just use those as a ME day if I really have to do them. Thanks again for the advise on weight classes. Good luck against JAY(remember he's not a good deadlifter :D, no offense JAY just tryin to help freak out psshhh like he needs the help I know)
