but what exactly is a "moneyline"?

Money line is opposed to the usual "point" spread line. Now you are getting more money or less money instead of more or less points added to your team. If you be 1000karma, you get back 2000 + your 1000 back. if you bet colts with 1000 k, you get your 1000 back + 400. It deals with money/(karma). not points (score)

Moneyline is the team you picked HAS to win.

Spread line is your team has to cover the points... like win by more than 6.5 points or lose by less than 6.5 points... in this case with these two teams.
