Those of you who have been following along and also have good memory might recall that I hit 185Kg for a PR single back in July '05, even before hurting my back in the Korte. Injury after injury has kept me from repeating the lift despite my best wishes and a few close approaches.
I started deadlifting again at the end of November after deciding that my knee was adequate to the job and have been progressing nicely since then with minor PRs for reps. Last week was 180Kgx3x3 (396 lbs) without much grief, done double-overhand except for the final rep of the third set.
I finally hit a PR today at 190Kg (418 lbs) after 18 months.
The first rep went well but the descent on the second rep was more of a semi-controlled drop after I passed the knees so I switched to mixed grip for the third rep and for the next two sets.
Here's a vid of the final set. The last rep was a poorly-executed back-wrecker but I think I'll survive.

Apologies for the low quality; my camera seems to be fussy about how little light it'll tolerate. Apologies also for the screaming; I'm a noisy lifter.
Lift done raw but with chalk.
190Kg x 2 - double-overhand PR
190Kg x 3 x 3 PR
