welcome to the boards, nice first post. My advice is to go out for a sports team in your highschool that uses lifting as a tool. IE football, track and field ( throwing events ) , etc. the coaches will instruct you on proper lifting and give you routines to follow, plus you get to use your high schools gym, a free gym. that is my best advice for you, if these are not possible, then listen to those guys, they know a lot more than me. =)
