12/24 NFL: Christmas Eve Parlays #1

what sort of random number generator are you using to set the odds?
5.99 to 1?
this isn't walmart

I'm using a parlay standard odds calculator that takes the standard lines and multiplies them out to create the parlay odds.

Pittsburgh@Cleveland, Pittsburgh odds are 100 to 340, Cleveland is +280.
San Diego@Kansas City, San Diego 100 to 125, KC 105 to 100
Tennessee@Miami TN at 200 to 100, Miami at 100 to 240

Pittsburgh wins that means a bet of 100 wins 100 back + 29.40 or 1.294 to 1 payout.
San Diego wins, payout is 1.8 to 1
Miami wins, payout becomes 1.417 to 1. Multiply the three together to get the odds.

1.294 x 1.8 x 1.417 = 330 so a bet of 100 would yield 330, or 230 to 100 odds. This is the standard method of calculation for parlays and also for calculating your odds on any multiple bets.

wow that's interesting

In shorter terms for bettors, its the same amount of winnings if you took the moneyline on all three games seperately. But taking KC on that game is a damn good choice!

yeah this boils down to selecting the winner in KC/SD
a good return if you're correct and there are no upsets by the TD underdogs

Oh don't count the Brownies out. Ok you can count the Brownies out. Hell we might win..........maybe we'll grow a run defense by tomorrow.
