The San Jose Sharks and the Edmonton Oilers will both be trying to pick up a win on Friday when they battle at Rexall Place.

Oddsmakers currently have the Sharks listed as 135-moneyline favorites versus the Oilers, while the game's total is sitting at 5½.

The Sharks had their four-game win streak snapped last time out as they fell 1-0 to the St. Louis Blues. San Jose were listed as -270 favorites and the final score fell went UNDER the posted total of 31.

Evgeni Nabokov made 12 saves in a losing effort.

The Oilers were blanked 4-0 last time out by the Calgary Flames as -140 favorites. The four goals scored were UNDER the posted over/under (5).

Dwayne Roloson allowed four goals on 16 shots before getting pulled in favor of backup Jussi Markkanen.

monday the 3 state auditors showed up
usually it's one from what the guy told me
but they're training somebody
so his CPA supervisor was along
the guy has been auditing funeral home books for better than a decade
these "books" are mine and they're 99.5% correct
they are going over every transaction in the past 3.5 years
I'm comfortable with that
3 sets of eyes going through my shit
so all week I got these 3 asking for file this and file that
and we were busy all week dead body wise
I completed payroll on thursday as I always do
payday is friday
but I get shit done on thursday so my employees can take their shit to the bank on thursday
instead of fucking around with the bank lines on friday
good thing too
I had 3 to embalm today

the third is the most labor intensive as he was a murder victim and had been autopsied
before I started the third my parents called me in for the exit interview with the auditors
I scanned their summary sheet and listened for about 3 minutes
and said "I got to go back there,I have work to do"
I spent 3 solid hours back there with dude
had to go through a 5 minute coughing and hacking spit cause an autopsy exposes me to so much embalming chemical
dude looks good
I was proud
looked over my 3 dead bodies and turned out the lights
