Not that it matters, nor do I need to justify myself to you, but my anger at my ex husband is because of the shit he did to my kid, not me. You try not hating someone who psychologically and physically abused your only child (I didn't know, most of it didn't come out until well after the divorce). The kid covered up for his father because he still wanted a relationship with his old man (boys are weird sometimes).

Oh, I did see a shrink. Eventually he said "why are you here? You don't need therapy." Therapy is for people who don't know why they feel or do shit. Rage issues can't be "fixed" all you can do is rechannel. Rotator cuff has taken away the best outlet I had for rechanneling.

She messaged me on Facebook a couple years ago to say congratulations on getting married. I think she started back to Nursing school last Fall and has a great partner. Through mutual friends I've heard she is great and doing well. I'd love to know for sure that she is doing well but I don't know of a way to get in touch.

Thanks for looking out for me yesterday! I don't know if you're aware already or not, but if you served in the armed forces between 1946-1991, you're entitled to a "Cold War Medal." I know you served, I just found out last week. I geuss all we have to do is go to our local courthouse with our DD2 forms, and we can get one. Now, I'm still looking into it, if I find out more I will let you know.

I think that's what really rubbed the article writer's fur the wrong way. There were some comments in that article (terms like murder and slaughter of babies) that made it clear the article writer was morally offended.
