Well, that explains why it wouldn't let me do it. What was weird was it gave me a message about the game possibly being over and that being the reason I couldn't make the move.

maybe you should leave my little pony alone! I didn't win...yet lol You can't take my knight; pawns can only move forward in blank spots, and can only kill diagonally. With that being said you could technically <cough> take my pawn. Now make your move monkey, tick tock!
