Training comeback
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

First time posting but I'd like to share an update.
Short training history, I spent 5 years competing in strongman and powerlifting but I was sidelined last year with a herniated disc that also revealed some bad degeneration of the disc. Ended up feeling sorry for myself and didn't train for 8 months which was the worst decision I could have made.

I returned to training in January committed to getting into shape for my wedding in August. I've taking it slow and have been patient with the process. It feels great to be moving again. Still plenty of work to go I'm currently sitting at the lightest I have been in over ten years and I plan on pushing to under 100kg for the first time since I was 16.

I want to give a massive shoutout to @Norvex His products have been aiding me the whole way. He's a legend of a bloke that put out high quality products, also he's just complete legend to deal with. You feel like you're talking to an old friend whenever you're dealing with him

(This isn't sponsored by Norvex but he has given me some freebies along the way!)

Before photos 22nd January at 122.2kg, Current photos morning weight was 102.9kg the gym bathroom lighting helped as well :ROFLMAO: (178cm tall for reference)

Hip stability is key for managing lumbar disc herniations (I assume it’s lumbar). Anteriorly tilted pelvises are very common and can reproduce symptoms.

I’ve been doing a bunch of hip stability work with my physio, the real issue is I’m missing about 35% of the disc. Surgical intervention is looking like the best next option.
