Skin, Hair & Peptide Log

Bit of a weird one i'm sure, but i floated the idea to @IRONCLAD LABS about making a log for my skin/hair. He liked it. With the help of Iron and Baz, i got a solid routine down. Ill be mainly focusing on skin to start as im waiting for his restock of dutasteride, which i will also get some minoxidil. I will be making another log for my gym journey soon. Again ik this might seem a bit strange but we do have to take care of our skin/hair.

The main issues with my skin is sebacious fillaments, photo aging, wrinkles and overall sun damage. I know at first glance using accutane might seem a bit strange. Accutane works by shrinking the sebaceous glands, often by 70-90%.

I have used Tretinoin before, my skin handles it extremely well. I used it a few years ago, and have tanned alot since.

I bought the following (Pic attached);
1x tazatorene
20x accutane 20mg
1x Ketoconazole Shampoo
1x Azelaic Acid cream

AM
CeraVe hydrating cleanser
CeraVe moisterizuer
Cosrx spf 50 ++++

PM
CeraVe Hydrating cleanser
wait 20 mins
Tazatorene pea size
wait 20 mins
CeraVe Moisterizer

20mg Accutane with a fatty meal EOD

Day 1-4
Didn't notice/feel much. No redness or dryness.

Day 5
My skin felt extremely tight to my face, my nostrils felt like they were burning. Skin started to flake, notibly on my chin area.

Currently on day 6, so will update as time goes on.

My bad bro
Legend for starting log but it won’t count for sponsor
We doing away with face logs for vendors

Accutane lowered to 2x per week. My skin didn't handle it well just jumping from 0 to 20mg daily (who would have thought!)

Skin became very very dry, peeled and was burning all over. Completely my fault. Small changes over weeks.

Tazatorene still daily
Added in 2.5mg GHK-CU daily

Ironclad had a restock of dutasteride which is the last product i needed for hair. Will upload some baseline pics for hair soon.

This is the result of jumping into things too quickly. 20mg accutane daily, body didn't handle it well. Went 20mg accutane 2x per week and dryness cleared up in 2 days completely. Before and after pics, 2 days difference. (Tiny bit of redness due to moisturizer)

Awesome log update brother! Can I suggest you to look into facial hydration routine as well. With accutane slowly drying your skin, your face will be more prone to sunspots and scarring. Your lips will also become more chappy as well. It's better to start maintenance now rather playing catchup later on.

what would you recommend?

what would you recommend?
I should mention that i do use Aquaphor for my lips.
But you're right, i could use some extra hydration. From my research, "Hyalu B5" seems to be pretty good to stack with accutane. But lmk if you have any recommendations

I use hydrating cleanser cerave, then night moisturing cream finish off with moisturising lotion. In the morning I just wash with water, add moisturising lotion and sunscreen.

I know some dude's gonna definitely laugh here, but I rather maintain my youthful appearance and steal casual glances from chics walking by while missus is fuming at me 😂
