Interested in trying semaglutide but I'm not sure what the best dosage is to start with. I'm 285 pounds and I'm looking to cut down between 50 and 100 pounds. Should I start at 1 mg a week or is that too high? What is the maximum dosage I should be aiming for?
Hey bro have you already bought it? Tirzapetide and Retatrutide are better options if you can afford it. Tirz for the extra appetite suppression that also works on saturating the GIP receptor. While Retatrutide adds on to Tirz with the work on the glucagon receptor that helps to make you burn more fat.
In terms of dosing I’d start with 0.25mg a week and titrate up from there as you feel the medication not being as effective. With semaglutide it’s your calorie deficit that makes you lose the weight. The best dose is the lowest one that gives you enough appetite suppression.
Semi-glutide is very powerful and your body has to get used to it. Start out at a really low dosage, maybe 0.25 mg a week, the first four weeks, and then go from there.
Bro, semaglutide is very outdated and old-school. A lot of guys are switching over to retatrutide and tirzepatide instead. They're double and triple agonists.
If you insist on semaglutide, start out at 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg a week. After four weeks you can increase it slightly. I would not exceed 1 mg or 2 mg a week.
Semaglutide will definitely crush your appetite. I would definitely use it but you need to aim to use it for six months. A lot of people are switching out to the more modern options though when it comes to the GLP-1 agonists.
