Without sounding too obvious, have you tried to re-set it up? I believe the incoming and outgoing mail server information may have changed.

I was forever a Firefox guy, then I got Chrome. With Chrome, I use it on my laptop, my iPad and iPhone. This allows me to log in to Chrome and sync all three device's search history, bookmarks and more. If you use the internet heavy on multiple devices and rely on bookmarks, etc, give Chrome a shot.
