  • Do U think Margarito will give Mosley?
The way I figure, is that remember that Clottey Margarito fight? Well, I think Clottey hits harder than Mosley, bad comparison though cause Clottey is pure counter puncher. Point is the argument that Mosley is faster, hits harder than Margarito is true, but also has less merit than standard fights. Same could be said for Cotto, and look how that went. Margarito won't knock him out, however, Mosley has much better chin than Cotto, however, I just don't think Mosley will stick to the plan they have for him to stay away and box, he will occasionally make the mistake Cotto made of duking it out. Mosley has conditioning that is phenomenal, however, U know this, and I don't, has he faced anybody who continuously throws at the volume Margarito does? Both fighters have excellent stamina, but Margarito's work rate, and chin are phenomenal. Its gonna be close, and the more I think about it, the less I know for sure. Who do You like?
This is actually the first year this issue has ever come up for our coven, specifically, and we'll be discussing it at the next business meeting. We've always been very small and insular before. Fund raising, in a positive way, is one of our higher priorities and it's new (scary) ground for all of us to tread.
I'm hoping we can build a relationship with the local Quakers. The rental on their meeting house is very, very reasonable ($150 full day/$75 half), but when you want to use the space four or more times a year and you only have $350 in membership dues it starts to pinch and the "suggested donation" bowl approach is not working. But we don't want to get into requiring donations because of the nature of spirituality, etc. As for the taxes, I was just curious, since they've had the land for nearly 300 years, how much they were putting out of their own pockets in yearly expenses outside of utilities.
