    Crystal Light

Yep, Crystal Light has aspartame... and a tonne of sodium. What doesn't is the Nestea version. Great flavours, lower in sodium, and flavoured with Sucralose, so none of the carcinogenic effects. And I understood that aspartame contributes to a lot more than cancer... alzheimers is implicated...

    sugar alchohol

I pretty much live on a crap-free diet... only eat ice cream / cake / pie on special occasions. However, to keep myself sane, I periodically eat one of those Atkins Endulge caramel nut bars. I never gave it much thought until I read this thread... it has 1g of sugar, but 8g of sugar alcohol...

Whey shake... how long until useless?

Sweet! I like the comparisons to milk and premixed protein shakes... makes sense. Good to know. First shake I actually enjoy drinking.

What's the best way to measure body fat at home?

mysportdeals.org - AccuFitness Accu-Measure Calipers, Body Fat Tester With Inst All you'll need... and for about $15. Even comes with the percentage conversion chart. Easy to use too. You'll see what I mean about using them consistently... just by altering my grip slightly, I can...

    BF Calculation Question

No need to complicate things... what you've described is a good start. Focus on dropping 23lbs of fat while maintaining your lean mass... do that and you've done something incredible. For the actual math, you pretty much have it. If 19% of 230 is pretty much 44lbs of fat, then your lean mass...

What's the best way to measure body fat at home?

Calipers. For the cost, they're surprisingly accurate. The only question mark is your consistency in how you use them.

Whey shake... how long until useless?

I ask, cause I frequently spin up a shake mid-afternoon, and sip away at my desk until quitting time. A co-worker asked what I was downing, and when I said it was this fabulous Cookies n Creme whey shake, she said she'd heard that whey was rendered useless in water in about an hour. I can't...

    Healthiest cooking oil?

Coconut oil here too. No higher source of MCT's available.

    Anastrozole for PCT

Nelson's post is great... but at the end of the day, it's a sales-pitch. So a follow up question... Unleashed or LiquiDex? Pros and cons? Anyone tried both and have a preference?

    HMB question

Naw, I think it's just abused. Based on the studies in this link ( http://www.nutritionandmetabolism.com/content/pdf/1743-7075-5-1.pdf ), 3 grams daily was the most efficient amount, while 6 grams showed no improvement over 3. Most HMB sold today is in 750mg capsules, so four / day should...

    HMB question

Based on my research, it appears to one of only a few supplements, outside of aas, that actually can improve strength and mass. For example: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11448573 http://www.geocities.com/hotsprings/spa/9971/hmb.html...

    NOxplode

Nothing wrong with a caffeine buzz! Throw a scoop in some RedBull... DAYUM! You're right... you won't get any bigger from it. But you will be awake! Great crash at the end, too. I take some around 5pm for the drive home from work, and by 10pm, I can't stand up anymore. Sleep like a baby!

    Anastrozole for PCT

I read George's comments on the different aromataze inhibitors available, and was surprised when LiquidDex (anastrozole) got a better grade than Nolvadex. However, the comment was that it's great to add to a cycle to stop aromatization, but no mention of PCT. Anyone tried it while coming off...

    MCT Oil?

MCT oil is so good for you, it's ridiculous. Do some research on it... you'll be impressed. Improved general health, immune enhancing, anti-viral, etc, etc. Based on what I've read, the ultimate source of MCT's is coconut oil, but palm kernel oil is definately second. It is a big source of...

    Flaxseed oil

Flax is an excellent oil to supplement, but as jocephus says, so is fish oil. So are MCT's, like coconut oil / palm kernel oil. The point? Mix it up. Use a bottle of flax until it's done, then sub in something else. Unfortunately, taking oils is one of those things that's hard to measure...
