This thread got me curious. I just got a 25g x1" and tried to bend it (bare hands, no tools). Bent easy enough, but did not break. When I straightened it, broke right off at the hub as soon as I started. Now I don't think a needle will bend so easily/likely while injecting yourself unless...

Zyg had a good suggestion if you're worried about moving the needle once its in and don't want it to the hub. Just cut one of the plastic caps so that the needle is the right length for the injection, then go ahead and use the 1.5" and shove it in 1.25 " or .5" or whatever. lilguy

I have disc problems and cannot do regular squats. To avoid the problem I purchased a squat hip belt. This belt takes all the weight off the back and "hangs" it from the hips. I haven't been able to do squats for years but I am doing them now. Can't get too low but its better than nothing...

I question the actual effectiveness of pullups on width. When I was in high school I did about 100 or so chins a day and had no width at all. Now after concentrating on them narrow v-grip pulls I have a good deal of width. Why's that? lilguy

Gee, I was under the impression that wide grip pulldowns worked the midback. I used a v-grip bar and pulldown to chest while leaning back a little to widen up a bit. Of course, I hit pulldowns or pullups first. lilguy
