I engage in martial arts, sprints, swimming, P-90x and weight training. I also add in a little bit of bike riding every now and then. I'm also not really a big fan of treadmills. I prefer to run outside on long trails. I find it a lot more entertaining this way.
If you are still feeling any type of pain, I would suggest you stop working out until it heals completely. If you keep working out with even just a little bit of pain, you will never heal properly. I know because I do marital arts and I hyper extended my arm during training one year ago. Till...
I've been doing yoga for years and it has helped me tremendously! It's not only great for staying in shape, but it also helps with stress and anxiety. Being that I suffer from anxiety, I do a lot of exercising and meditation.
