For suits, try not to wear too much black in the summer unless you add a white shirt or something to lighten up. I don't know what your budget is, but theory makes really nice easy peaces for work. You can always mix and match your suits. You don't have to wear the same suit, the same way everytime you wear it. Does that help? If you have other questions, please ask.
The dress Princessa was talking about was Valentino and they're very pricey. Like ridiculously.. Oscar de la Renta is also good, but pricey as well..

E, if you're looking to look 'put together' without making an effort and not looking fancy, the best thing to do now is: You can mix lots of black and white, such as, black capri pants and a short sleeve white shirt with some nice earrings. Or white, easy capri jeans with a t-shirt and a short sleeve cardigan for when you go indoors to a cool air conditioned room. That way you always look put together. Also a white summer dress with silver flat sandals would look great. It's all about looking cool..

But, thing is its not so much the ambiance and aesthetic appeal she infuses all with, I mean hell that intimidated me at first, but it's more of the fact that she digs on the sort of abstract meanderings nature I have, however she gives me reason to focus for once.
