Ive hit a plateau on the standing military press and am.not sure how to get around it.
I follow 5/3/1 currently and have set new PRs on bench deadlift and squat however despite deloading and lowering the weight while upping the volume i am still stuck.
Would it help if i swapped to say...

Hey sorry i just noticed you want to start a cycle and a new training regime on the same day? If you are doing something completely different to your staple 5x5 i.e. A conventional 4or5day or push/pull split i personally think that is a bad idea.
I would say you need to give yourself at least...
You could try adding assistance work to your 5x5 or try Jim wendlers 5/3/1 programme........it still a strength training base on your 4 core.lifts but you add in assistance work for hypertrophy on every workout.

Try 15mins HIIT style cardio straight after your workout i.e. 1minute fast walk or jog and 1minute sprint..........u dont need ti do anymore as your metabolism will already be high post your weight session.

There are loads of 5x5variations out there......try stronglifts first as u can potentially up your weights every workout whereas the likes of Bill starr, madcow etc limit u to a weekly increase due to how the programme set up. I would use those when u stall on stronglifts. you can download the...
If u nail your form stronglifts 5x5 will get your poundage up on squats............i went from struggling at 330lbs training conventionally to 375lbs on stronglifts and without using gear. I would def recommend it...........but be prepared to squat heavy 3x per week.

I used to is it all the time. Dunno if it was all down to the gaba or getting my shit in order training and nutrition wise but made good progress with the weights, my mood was better and was getting some darn good shuteye at night as well.

Thats interesting......apparently i could gain another 15lbs before i hit my natural max but my quads are already 3" bigger than the estimated max, my neck 1" bigger and my biceps only 0.5" smaller than the estimated max.
