Chat peeps we do not have many rules in chat and in fact we have hardly any at all. But I have been asked by Admin to enforce a new rule. No profanity, No swear words of any kind, No porno pics or links to porn site, no youtube vids and not more then 3 banners in any members signatures .

To much in your sig bogs the site down. Cussing and profanity annihilates elites search engine ranks and links to pron site will do the same. one you tube vid embedded inot just my signature could bring this whole forum to a stand still lololol Or slow it down to Matrix slow mo speed at the least.

We all want to see elite grow and continue to be the leader in our industry so lets please do our part. SO digimon how ever its spelled please take the word As* out of your sig bro. lolololol your like the only bro I saw braking this rule right now ....

PS. No emails in your signatures ether. Only mods of elitfitness.com or sponsors are allowed to have emails in there signatures from now on.

Sigs are out of control in size
I felt forced to shut them off a year or two ago for this reason.

I'm counting six banners on your sig, dear. Get rid of three of them. If you really want to support all the sponsors, then create two signatures and cycle them by the week or month.

And you're not the only one.

It's not that hard to understand; it's just the way businesses work.

Look at what the market leader is doing (you know, that other big profitable site). EF's in the same industry, and we're not exactly going for some niche sub-field. We're not vying for their top position, so we follow their proven model of success.

It's pretty universal, whether you're running a BIGPHARMA company or a BIGDISCUSSIONBOARD company.

I swear more then any member here I think. Ricks always getting on my back about it. WAAAA the google ranks WAAAA...

Its not some "leading" site is doing it so we are doing it. And it is deff not because we are trying to save some ones feelings or religion.

It is the search engines penalize sites with a lot of profanity . Getting knocked back a page from first page to second page on any key searches can mean the difference in 10k unique clicks a day and 100k a day. Its the difference in 100k new member sign ups a month and 100 new member sign ups a month..

And more importantly for sponsors like me smart enough to write seo stile Articles taking advantage of ef's page ranks. Its the difference in 5k a day in sales and 1k a day in sales.

If the search engines did not care then nether would we but sadly for us they do. So we are at there mercy.

For the record, when it comes to "steroid" forums. Elitfitness.com is the big boy, we are the leader.

read the last part I added. Starting Friday of this week we will be enforcing these rules with vengeance. Its just the way Admin wants it now guys out of my Hands.
