I understand the emotional impact breast cancer can have on a woman, but lets be honest...with a mortality rate of 24 out of every 100,000 women diagnosed, there are a few other cancers that probably deserve more attention.

You're a married man, if a woman even thinks she's afflicted, let alone suffering from a legitimate life threatening cancer it will be considered the greatest threat to all of humanity.

both my ex mother in laws and my mother have had it....I have daughters

I think it deserves attention, no more or no less so then a lot of other things but ya....I think it deserves some attn

You're more likely to die in a car accident than die from breast cancer...just sayin. The females in my family have never suffered from breast cancer...they all died from cardiovascular disease which is why my mother is on HRT. As a matter of fact, more women die from cardio disease then men.

If you have a history of breast cancer then you have a difficult decision to make at menopause.

awareness helps women detect cancer sooner and improves their prognoses. it also makes them more conscious of maybe not going nuts with birth control hormones
