Healthy fast food??

I was reading the fast food thread and it made me wonder if you can actually get a decently healthy meal at a fast food restaurant.

I know at Taco Bell you can order your tacos "fresco" and they are made with less fat.

Occassionally I'll eat at Wendy's and get a side salad with low fat dressing, a baked potato with nothing on it and a small chili and a water. I pour the chili on the potato. Overall not too bad for fast food.

Any other fast food ideas that are healthy, or at least not as fattening.

Wendy's grilled chicken supreme sandwich sans mayo is a good ~30g of protein and under 300 calories, IIRC. I've been known to get a few Mcdonalds Mcdoubles (no cheese!) and stack all the burgers in a single bun... 6 patties (aside from the strange looks you get) offers almost 50g of protein in under 500Kcal.

Neither are healthy, but say you're driving 2hrs a day for work, sometimes these things can't be helped.

I'll usually go for a grilled chicken sandwich (no mayo/sauce), a side salad w/lite or fat free dressing, and a fruit and yogurt parfait.

McDonalds also has a grilled chicken wrap. Two of those and a water is about $3 and not to fatening if you drop the ranch sauce.

Hard boiled eggs and a large mixed veggie salad. May not be a menu option, but you can get that just about anywhere. Just be sure to toss the yolks lol

My parents brought some fried chicken to the house today. Tough to make that meal healthy. I took the skin off the breast and pulled the meat off and put it on a spinach salad but I had to stay away from the fried okra and cole slaw (too much mayo).

ive heard those grilled chicken wraps are quite unhealthy... Anyhow at my uni can get a chicken wrap to with a sweet and sour sauce and a nice salad in the wrap for like R30 in your oaks money like $4. Seems quite healthy to me except couldnt imagine it without the sauce...:chomp:

As long as you don't get the sauce they aren't too bad as far as fast food goes. If I'm eating out I ditch the sauces and mayo and half of the bread.

I know the title of the thread says healthy fast food, but I think this is more of if you have to eat fast food what is the best option. If you eat two fresco tacos and a cup of water your probably okay. But I agree, I don't think the Taco Bell diet would cause anybody to lose weight.
