I was having a convo with someone about MJ affects and they said it affects the quality of sperm, not just quantity. Meaning if youre a man and smoke MJ, you could give your child birth defects. Is this true?

well, unless things have changed alot and I wasn't aware, the male is always just the donor. The female takes over from conception until the birth. Then, the male takes his roll again.

If someone is knowingly trying to conceive, no matter what the circumstance, it's irresponsible to creat another human being and not have the utmost concern for it's wellfare. That includes ingesting any substance not necessary for a healthy body, yours and subsequently, the childs. That in my mind would include, tobacco, alcohol, drugs including pot, meds unless discussed with a DR, gear, some supplements, etc. That goes for male AND female. I remember the DR making a big deal to my now wife about green leafy vegetables and folic acid. If I remember correctly, it's been 13 years, but it had to do with brain developement.
