i just did something a little crazy (and a lot stupid).

Picked up my 14 year old daughter and was driving back home through the center of town. I live in a very small town (800 people).

There was a man in the town center with a big sign that said "impeach obama" and a table set up for people to sign petitions. There was a big picture of obama with a hitler mustache drawn on him.
Nobody was signing.

So i drove past and said to my daughter, "man... that burns me up. I should have told him off."
She said, "go back".

so i did. I drove past again, but this time, I rolled down my window and said "I hope you die of a heart attack you fucking idiot." and gave him the finger.

My daughter was laughing and laughing (i rarely curse). I probably shouldn't have done that.

but man, that felt good.

It's funny how stupid people like this think he can actually gather enough sigs to get Obama impeached!

The Hitler mustache was tasteless

You being a Obama rump groper is the most fucked up part of the story.

well first of all, i like obama.
but even if i didn't, the hitler mustache, on our first minority president, is retarded. Plus, wtf.

and yes, like this guy is going to get anything accomplished in podunk, USA, where fanny packs and coveralls are still in fashion.

Bad example for teh kid, but thats the only bad thing about what you did.

He's a democratic president. It's expected that people will hate him and the fringe element comes out. Wait a second, that happens for all presidents. :)

But the crazies that come out against democratic president always talk about armed rebellion. They should be put down as terrorists.

Although I don't condone the man's actions, I think it's great that we live in a country that lets you voice such a strong opinion without the militia shooting you in the head or running you over with a tank.

just sayin'

I am not a fan of Obama, didnt vote for him. I do think that is tasteless and low character to have a poster like that. But i do smile, because this counrty allows you to speak your mind if you do it in a non hostile way. In any other thrid world countyr you would be harmed to say the least.

Let us take a minute and think of the freedoms this great counrty allows and that we can still go about or daily lives without much care what some fruitcake is yelling at the side of a street corner.

this isnt the only country with freedom and democracy, you are aware of that? and yes 3rd world countries have it to....

lol@3rd world countries counting. They're too busy trying to figure out how to charge the fuckin' ipods heather bought them than to worry about democracy

But this nutjob making a futile and unbased impeachment attempt doesn't discount the harsh reality that Obama is horribly misguided.

I am neither democrat or republican and obama is not a leader. his lack of leadership abilitiy is independent of his political leanings, his verbal acumen, charisma and likability. he is the antithesis of a good president.

the man on the corner has a CONSTITUTIONAL right to do what he is doing

you have a CONSTITUTIONAL right to say what you said.

the irony is if he had his absolute way, niether of you would have the CONSTITUTIONAL freedom to do what you did.

Well stated.

I'd actually have gone back and signed it, (I've signed several of them in Dallas and a few in Los Angeles, but I'd also have blasted the guy for using Hitler's mustache to drive home a point first. Bringing Hitler into anything to try to make a point is in BAD taste, but there are a lot of things our President is doing, which are identical to things which Hitler did early in his reign, such as socialzing the auto industry and medicine. Once he got Germany dependent on the government, he was able to control the public, and he went on to do what all he did. So although I would not discredit the survivors and family of victims of Hitler by using his name or likeness for a signature drive, I can see why someone would pick him to compare. I don't think Obama wants to kill off a race, but he definitely wants to kill off the American Dream, and destroy the chances for anyone to make a good life here. As much as I wish yesterday were his last day in office, he hasn't done anything to be impeached for (yet).

btw, it was the hitler mustache that burned me up. the rest of it was just craziness. My son is away this weekend but he called me yesterday and I told him what I did. he was laughing and laughing and said he wished he was with me. He also told me that the same guy was out there during the election with signs about how obama is in alliance with bin laden and that electing a black president will be the downfall of america.

during that time, some kids my son knew walked past him and spray painted the entire thing while the guy stood there and screamed at them, and then they took off. I realized it was a battle of middle america farmland and 1950's thinking vs. a more open minded youth and the youth won that day.

i'm all for free speech of course, and I know it's this country that allows us both to express our opinions, yadda yadda yadda.

i have been thinking about the example I set for my daughter yesterday and I'm not so sure it was a bad thing. Maybe not screaming out that I hope he dies of a heart attack part, but the part about speaking up. lol

He's socializing the american auto industry eh? Ok, let's for a moment play along. The German automobile industry really suffered from that bout of govt. intervention didn't they? I mean they went on to make the world shittiest cars for decades right? German engineering is a global joke is it not?

:lmao:

Well done. You just credited Hitler for Germany's centuries-long history of engineering and manufacturing craftsmanship.

+1

And Obama is a douche anyway.

I just read he lied about the Lockerbie bomber and supported his release. Throw in the Black Panthers he supported - all of that isn't cool, no matter what party you belong to.

Name another country that has codified freedom of speech and separation of church and state...There is only one...that is American exceptionalism...We are the singular nation that doesn't have a state supported theocratic dictatorship. :)

Take a stroll through history and count the number of years humans have been free of dictatorship..that isn't the natural condition.

Well no, not really. But it didn't "harm" them now did it? I mean who doesn't want to ride in Hitlers volkswagen?

not me, i don't wanna drive a volkswagen!

however, i do own a couple other german cars:D

ferdinand porsche was commissioned by hitler to build the car for the people
the volkswagen and the tiger tanks.

commission in german circa 1940 meant, "do it or we will kill you and your entire
family." ( porsche was later falsely imprisoned by the french for war crimes and
they extorted money from his family in return for his release. )

i wouldn't been able to own 6 porsches and a half dozen assorted bmw & mercedes if it hadn't been for the wonderful capitalistic, freedom centric
u.s. of a. did it with no formal education, political contacts, rich parents
or government subsidies. try to become a millionaire from scratch in
germany, france, russia, canada, china etc.......

i think stilletos point was that she shouldn't have acted that way in front
of her daughter. furthermore she seemed embarrassed by her emotional
outburst and temporary loss of control.

it might be viewed alternately that she showed her daughter that she is
human and that it is ok to make mistakes. she also showed intense
passion and passion runs on a continuum. it ranges from murderous
rage all the way to undying love. these are important things to teach
kids at an early age. it tends to thwart closed minded and dichotomous
thinking that can plague us as adults.

You're right, I need a vacation.

You're right, I need a vacation.

maybe the homeless shelter there can make arrangements with a
homeless shelter in florida or another vacation spot and you can
relax a little. ( relax being defined as sleeping 16 hrs a day as
opposed to the 14 you already do. a lortab doc who'll write you
120 pills a month as opposed to the doc who's writting you 90
and a cot with dividers so you can maturbate in private. )

yep, i agree. a vacation would prob do wonders for ya.:)

Yea that didn't escape my attention either, & an US senate committee actually has the temerity to "request" the presence of UK / Scottish politicians to "answer" for their actions  .

Obama is a poor man's Tony Blair & even that's saying something.
