Myers-briggs: Ideal mate personality test

*ebony*

New member
just for fun, my girlfriends and i took this test this evening and I like myer briggs tests. Took the personality one a few times and always came up the same thing.

HelloQuizzy.com: The Best Personality Type for You Test

Your result for The Best Personality Type for You Test ...

INTJ The Mastermind

You scored 0 I versus E, 20 N versus S, 60 F versus T, and 100 J versus P!
Your ideal romantic partner is known as the Mastermind. As a romantic partner, this type can be both fascinating yet demanding. They are not apt to express their emotions, leaving their partners wondering where they are with them. They strongly dislike repeating themselves or listening to the disorganized process of sorting through emotional conflicts. They see their own commitments as self-evident and don't see the need to repeat something already expressed. They have the most difficulty in admitting their vulnerabilities. They feel the most appreciated when their partners admire the quality of their innovations and when they listen respectfully to their ideas and advice. They need plenty of quiet to explore their interests to the depth that gives them satisfaction.

Your result for The Best Personality Type for You Test ...

Nobody.

You scored 100 I versus E, 100 N versus S, 0 F versus T, and 70 J versus P!

Your ideal romantic partner is return=function(undefined) attachEvent("divide by zero undefined",false). As a romantic partner, nobody will find any interest in an aspie of your magnitude. Accept that your life will be full of archaic textbooks and dusty chalkboards.

Fuck.

:cow:

LOL... I love this. Ebs...I"m too beat from the trip home, and the last 8 days have been awesome but I'm so fucking tired. I'm gonna take this badboy in the morning and see where I fit in. LOL... your prototype as a match I see fitting you well.

hahahaha

soooo are you an INTJ?:qt:

UR really into quiz taking huh? :)

sure, they're fun.

But mostly my friend likes them, and she always emails me links and i take em and we share/compare results.lol

Today we had a girl's "get together", went out for dinner, rented a movie that were gonna come back, lounge around and watch, but ended up painting toes, talking about men, sex and taking a personality tests online.lol was fun anyways.

traveling can be draining! But at least your home now.:)
yea take it, and post up! its pretty interesting stuff and fun.

I new an INTJ before. I think i can 'get' most of the other types but not INTJ, which makes them fascinating. With them it would be pretty hard to get bored(which happens occasionally:(), keep me on my toes sort thing.

ahahhahaha

your an INTJ? you interwebs persona seems a bit different than the INTJ i knew IRL.:)

Those only work on the "average" person. If someone is unusually creative, or unusually intelligent or unintelligent, the test will show a very wrong sum-up of their personality. Those are useful in selecting people to hire for certain types of jobs, but I don't believe they're worth a nickel, when it comes to figuring out what kind of personality someone has. And if you have autism of any degree (and I do), the test will show nearly opposite of what your real personality is.

Charles

I never get the same result. It all just depends. I am an introvert who rebels, some days I want the quiet devoted man, sometimes I want the reckless life of the party. I married the reckless life of the party.

You scored 25 I versus E, 40 N versus S, 40 F versus T, and 60 J versus P!

Your ideal romantic partner is known as the counselor. This type makes a supportive and insightful romantic partner, encouraging their mates to have dreams and work hard to make those dreams come true. Because they are so creative, they have a wealth of ideas to help them toward those goals. They need harmony so much that they are driven to resolve conflict quickly, as long as the terms don't violate their strong ethics. They feel the most appreciated when their partners admire their creativity, trust their inspirations, and respect their values. It is also vitally important that their partners be open and emotionally available - in other words, that they be willing to share themselves completely.

Pretty Close I'd say....

i disagree with this. I don't know how you define average here, but i have people in my life who are extremely intelligent, creative, ect. according to them the description of their type fits very well.

Personaily, I find the general description of ENFP to be mostly spot on for me. Within each type there are many different facets as well. I come from a family full of xNTx and though i was too, but the description seemed a bit off. Anyways its nothing to base your life on or anything but i find it a great tool thats helped me gain a better understanding of myself and others(before I felt very disconnected from the world and it saddened me, want to be 'understood' but how when i confused even myself.lol) This indicator has been an immense help to me.

It would be foolish to rely on this indicator as tool for hiring people. An employer would need to hire people based on ability and performance; this indicator doesn't test that.

I never get the same result. It all just depends. I am an introvert who rebels, some days I want the quiet devoted man, sometimes I want the reckless life of the party. I married the reckless life of the party.

really? according to the Jung's theory, your type never changes, thats its inbred. supposedly when you "mature" and may seem to have changed drastically, you are still that type, just a 'evolved'. That being said, did you answer the question honestly? first time i took it, i answered some of the questions with what i would like but not as i am.

Plus the free online ones are not the official test, they are mostly imitations that score you on what "fits best" which can be misleading. I took took the official one which was alot lengthier, got it scored. It was the same as the online results, maybe i'm strong enfp after all.lol

if your curious enough, i recommend paying a few bucks for it.:)

Did we do the same quiz? I answered what I wanted out of a man, not about myself - I did just skim. Were the second page of questions supposed to be about me? LOL

I already went through the "knowing myself" phase already.- I've already taken the official test, back in my early 20's. Dont remember what I was

I think INFJ would be awesome for me,then again I tend to be compatible with all the types. but for some reason i really like and seem drawn to IxNx more specifically INTx. I had major crush my INTP friend to which he was clueless.lol

It's way cooler if you do it old school using a beaker and looking up Rf values.

That'll have the chickas beating a path to your door.

It would be foolish to rely on this indicator as tool for hiring people. An employer would need to hire people based on ability and performance; this indicator doesn't test that.

What I mean, is that it's never gong to work out if you hire a creative, intelligent person to do a repetitive task. He/she will get bored, and quit, or do a rotten job if they need the $ and can't quit. On the other hand, you wouldn't want a loyal, routine-oriented, simple & straight-thinking person to edit magazine articles. They would bore the readers to death. That's where the M-B test might help the employer.

And just to clarify, my remark about opposite results of the test, are for people who have Autism or other conditions which cause a different thinking process from the mainstream. The M-B test might say that a prospective bank employee is devious or undecided, and careless. Wow; that would make an awful bank employee..... But the fact might be, that the Autistic person would be 100% reliable, 100% honest, and very routine-oriented (will never forget the company policy or procedures). Too much to explain in a thread here, but that's my view on it.

My ex-GF took that test when she wanted a summer job at Albertson's market. She "flunked" the test, and the manager said he was really upset about it, because his superiors state that the employee must fit certain parameters for the job, via the M-B test. No matter how great the applicant might be, they cannot hire if those M-B test parameters aren't met. So just to test my theory, I copied the exact test she took, and had 3 friends take it (plus myself). NONE except one of us fell within the parameters to be a clerk at Albertson's!!!!! One friend is a high school dropout who works at at a newspaper stockroom in the desert (he is the one who is within the parameters), one is a Navy fighter pilot with a PhD in electronic engineering and advanced math, and the third is a 45-year-old housewife (educated).

lol, yea i gathered that. you cant NOT deal with us though, so you might as well enjoy teh wimmiz. Such a waste of energy, resisting is.:D

I've spent most of my adult life womanizing...then I realized that I enjoyed the hunt more than the outcome...since I have no desire to procreate there is no point to womanizing....I hunt for knowledge and achievement these days which gives a measureable outcome that helps all of humanity as opposed to a conquest which only satisfied my ego and the only tangible outcome a child, something I want to avoid at all costs....those things are expensive.

I see what you mean. Even though Im a huge fan of MBTI, i would not judge someone based on it or make presumptions, that is i wouldn't put too much weight in it for making decisions. It is but a small contribution in helping understand the human pyche. No test/indicator can ever 'test' for such complexities for every individual is different.

I've spent most of my adult life womanizing...then I realized that I enjoyed the hunt more than the outcome...since I have no desire to procreate there is no point to womanizing.

ur gonna live without sex for the rest of your life?? if you don't want a romantic relationship or kids, there are other like minded females out there.

I hunt for knowledge and achievement these days which gives a measurable outcome that helps all of humanity as opposed to a conquest which only satisfied my ego and the only tangible outcome a child, something I want to avoid at all costs.

thats all good and admirable, and if you are truly happy spending your time with such pursuits then more power to you. If not...well its your life and not 'humanity's'. In the end, all that matters is if you've really lived a full, fulfilling life; people that do usually enjoy life's pleasures, live for fun kinda thing.............which includes sex:D

That's the "typical" response I've gotten throughout my life. It's a condescending attitude based on the bias of procreation that ensured the survival of the species tens of thousand years ago... finding and telling the next hot chick you meet whatever will spread her legs doesn't help humanity other than procreation... What helped the species become dominant, people that pursued knowledge, doesn't necessarily lead to advancement on the level of procreating.

lies, you havent the knowledge or the funding...and no one has the interest

lies, you havent the knowledge or the funding...and no one has the interest

If someone can do it in The United States with a goat years ago... someone can do it in Mexico...given the money...a paycheck creates A LOT of interest....

My specialization is AI and I'll preserve my intelligence for all time! :)

hmm...are you going to trust mexican geneticists...because I think I might have an advantage somehow if you do

hmm...are you going to trust mexican geneticists...because I think I might have an advantage somehow if you do

I trust people that rely on the free market to make money and have a track record...chances are...if you're a fuck up you...either work for the gov or are subsidized by the gov...

True story...my ex GF Melody is staff @ University of Iowa and when she broke up with me she cited the fact she "felt stupid around me." I consider her an intellectual equal but I also realize I enjoy the thrust and parry of argumentation...there is a reason ENTP's are considered the lawyer type. :)

INTJ The Mastermind

I tried to pick a mate who isn't the same as me, but I guess I failed. I'm an INTP.

I dated a chick that was totally into personally types and she admitted it was BS for the most part....I just want people to admit we are individuals pursuing our own best interests and not some kind of automaton programmed by Jesus or some other bearded douchebag..

eeh, thats not what i was thinking when i gave my typical response. Its more of a reminder that i personally use on myself because i tend to get too caught up inside my own little world in my head and feel like i'm missing out on life. And i don't disagree with you, you can go out and observe any social group and see that they're living for the purpose of procreation. Sooo what's your point? if the pursuit of knowledge is all you need, then more power to you as i said earlier. Your doing a great favor to humanity. At the end of the day are you happy and content; that was my point.

of course you are, it must be the penis

No, I'm pretty sure it's the fact I use reason and wiminz are ruled by emotions....

I used to watch "Coach" and the main character made a statement to his wiminz..."Christine, you're an intelligent person but you're also a woman and sometimes those things fight each other."

Despite the extreme, either/or format, that puts one out of touch with a healthy medium, the quiz paints a pretty accurate map of what I dig and is best for me.
I dug that Ebony.
Actually explains alot. T agrees.

lol, I know right?! i find it very limiting. Plus, i kept wanting to answer as if i was taking the test and not for my "ideal", yet thinking that my characteristic would be ideal cause i'm so freaking awesome. A male version of me would be a blast to hang out with; id probably go insane though.lololol:biggrin:

Ebony,if there was a male actor that resembles you, I'm thinking,
Paul Rudd, funny, open minded, just seems like the right 'feel'.

LOL... T said that she would have Will Smith or Ralph Macchio, yeah, I know the RalphMachio fits and I can kinda see it, but yeah... still hilarious, however... yeah.

I dig Will, he was accepted to MIT after high school, but told his dad he would rather act. His dad, argued, but ended up supporting him.

U gotta see I love U man, it's a funny relationship comedy.
Not criterion collection, but funny and lighthearted.
