This whole tonsillitis thing is doing me in. It's something like day 3 (i lost count. i'm delerious) and I can't sleep. I'm hungry, SOO thirsty I know i'm dehydrated even though i'm trying to sip water. My temp hasn't gone below 100 in days.

my whole head hurts. I don't mean like a headache, i mean, like a headache, earache, sinus ache, stiff neck, sore jaw, and my eyes are burning.

I can't talk or swallow, it hurts to walk, and I can't think.

feel sorry for me. and have AAP come get me if i disappear.
oh, and i'm expected in work tomorrow. I'm thinking about going, and then checking myself into a hospital.

However, your immune system sound pretty overwhelmed. Yeah, U need to remain as hydrated as possible before you go to work, and keep the antiinflammatorys coming.

By today, it should pass, anyway, you can get another day without trouble? If not, and you have to tough it out, one look at you and your boss will probably understand. Either way, you probably are getting your mindset preparing you to make it through.

thanks ariel. you can tell i'm sick by looking at me... I look awful. i do sort of have to go in- mandatory meeting, and I have two people working for me that are running out of things to do. Plus I have a bunch of things to do that they can't help with.

I don't suggest any more than 200mg at a time of ibuprofen. That stuff is pretty hard on your system.
