lol i forgot I DVR'd this. Presssing play now.
Smurf has a dvr?
2 bad he sucks !! matter of fact im suprised on how bad he is
im sick of these shitty matches. But I've really gained a lot of respect for Rashad. Maybe he's a good bro afterall.
Rashad looks like he's show boatin' for the camera.
I just think its nice that he looks after the other teams fighters when they get ktfo and their own coaches ditch em.
I really don't see a problem with what Rampage does. then again, i'm an asshole too.
Why was the Rampage/Rashad fight canceled?
Damn, he must go 0-8 for the whole TUF season.
Why was the Rampage/Rashad fight canceled?
why the fuck is kimbo famous??? He sucks. I dont watch MMA that much but I hear all about this guy and the times ive seem him fight he is horrible
well haters he actually is still in the ufc and fights may 08 where he will destroy some scrub. Please stay tuned
He got knocked out by Seth Petruzelli: AKA the worst fighter to ever enter the UFC.
Kimbo is an overgrown monkey. He is not a good fighter. If his ground game has improved dramatically he will be decent at best.
Kimbo has come a long way and his skill is improving a lot. Gotta give him credit, he has been working hard and it shows.
However, I think I am on your side of the fence. He was some Miami backyard scrapper that fucked up untrained fighters. First competition in the pro ring and he was getting fucked up. He himself claims he is not a martial artist, but a streetfighter. There's no respect to be earned from me for that.
When it comes to martial arts, I am traditional, so when a big tough ape comes in the ring I don't respect him, even if he would kick my ass.
Guys like Machida, who show respect and the "lifestyle" that is martial arts, by bowing to competitiors etc, that shit is where it's at for me. Not loudmouth shit talkers like Tito Ortiz, fucking fag, not unathletic douches like Tim Sylvia, big dumb oaf, and certainly not backyard apes with heavy hands.
To me, Kimbo has yet to gain my respect as a high level competitior. Once he beats several big name competitors, then I may reconsider him as worthy of his current mantle. Til then, fuck'im.
I agree completely on the first part at least. Kimbo is a very hard worker. The guy is old as hell to be training as hard as some of these guys do and still he trains harder and harder, but I just dont think he will ever be able to compete as he gets older and older.
He's past his prime by about 8-10 years at least and he isnt getting a younger.
That said, the guy is a badass streetfighter. But the thing is, fighting is a sport. If you think you can be a great fighter and completely defend yourself on the street youre a fool. Take Kimbo vs. a bullet, Brock vs. a bullet, anyone really and I think we know who wins. (save for certain military specialists)
He is good at streetfighting. He is not good at MMA. Both are sports, both have limits on their usefullness in a threatening combat situation.
Agree or disagree, I still think that Kimbo is a good youtube entertainer and a far less stellar UFC entertainer.
I wish someone would just punch Dana in the face and break it.
Haha man I think Dana is hilarious! The dude can do or say whatever the hell he wants and get away with it so he tells it like it is.
Althoug, he is a prick, no question about it.
If he trains well then Kimbo could be a great fighter someday, I laugh whenever I see one of those guys say that he could never be good fighter after the guy has been training for what now? almost a year? and hes fighting pro, you can tell by those comment that if those people trained they would quit after the first month. Anyways seeing his cardio in the Alexander fight tells me his training wasn't all that good, really I always think a part of training well is overcoming your weaknesses, one of the most common thing for the big guys is stamina and gassing out is once of the worse things that can happen to a fighter and yet I see it happen again and again, I mean I know the Florida sun and humidity sucks(well running at 5 am helps a lot with the sun but screw that) I live there, and most people find running one of the more difficult parts of training, and I can imagine with so many muscles it must be even harder but fighting at the pro level like that is just waiting for disaster to happen.
