still a D-bag. all fighters talk shit prefight, not all fighters do what he did post fight.
I'd rather talk shit post-fight than pre-fight...but that's just me.
what're you dumb?
maybe you should think about why Brock did that...maybe look at the pre-fght vids and all the shit talking Mir was doing
everone hate on the big guy...he beat Mir and Couture - massacred them, two of the best fighters in the world, destroyed them.....still questionning him? Please....
I wanted to name my kid Brock, my wife wouldn't let me. I wish I would could have watched the fight. Instead I was reading Pat the Bunny and Good Night Moon. Although reading to my son is much more rewarding
need a super hw division over 265, lesnar was 280 by fight time
I am OK with Brock trashing Mir after the fight, given the trash-talking Mir had done leading into this fight.
I am OK with Brock flipping off the idiot fans that were booing him.
I think disrespecting Budweiser, one of the UFC's biggest sponsors, was a no-no and will be the only thing Dana White chastises him for.
dana white set his bitchass straight post fight:
Brock Lesnar undisputed champ, perfect villain for UFC - Arash Markazi - SI.com
"While Lesnar may have looked like an uncontrollable loose cannon after the fight, he was a changed man when he walked into the press room soon after. Wearing a wide smile and holding a Bud Light, he took a big swig as he looked at White and said, "I love Bud Light! I must have caught a hard knee to the head."
After the fight White had pulled Lesnar out of the locker room and chewed him out before Lesnar nodded his head and said that he was embarrassed and sorry. For as entertaining as Lesnar's act might have been to some, White has worked hard to attract mainstream advertisers like Bud Light and Burger King as wasn't about to let Lesnar ruin those relationships in an effort to momentarily incite the crowd.
"I was blown away. I don't think in the history of the UFC we've ever had someone do something like that," said White. "It's not who we are and it's not who he is. I've spent time with the guy. He gets in there and the adrenaline starts kicking and the mouth starts moving, but the brain isn't sending anything to his mouth. If he was a [bad guy], I would tell you, but he's not. He's a smart guy. He's been in the WWE so long that he thinks he has to jump in there and be the heel."
I'm sure there's stipulaitons in Brock's UFC contract pertaining to punitive reprimands for not supporting sponsors.
Hendo fought until the Referee pulled him off. His adrenaline was probably going harder than any of us have ever experienced, and he reacted the same way he did when he knocked out Wanderlei. When your career is on the line you MAKE SURE you win the fight, and that means fighting until the Referee says otherwise.I can't beleive nobody's talking about what a POS Henderson was for dropping that forearm into bisping when the dude's hands were stiffened down by his midsection. Henderson even admitted that he slid that forearm in for fun. That was bullshit. There was no fucking animosity between them, it was all made up for ultimate fighter coaches drama...just like forrest and rampage. Henderson was one of my favorite fighters until tonight. I wanted him to go on and destroy anderson, but not now.

Rampage on the other hand, after he knocked out wanderlei, the ref wraps his arms around his waist and tries to yank him off, but Rampage being bigger and stronger than the ref, refuses to budge so he can land extra shots on an unconscious opponent.
If you really lost respect for Hendo, I really hope you're not a Rampage fan, because that would be pretty goddamned hypocritical.
Hendo, butt by his own admission he threw down an extra shot to keep Bisping STFU a little longerYeah, he beat up that old man all right. lol!
I think he went overboard with the double fingers to the people who paid to see him...but that shit works in pro wrestling, so...
By the way, “I might get on top of my wife tonight.”
LMAO!

Brock lesnar is the fucking man. the guy is 265 pounds of muscle. .
he's 265 for the weigh in bro, in the ring he's pushing 285-290. Thiago does the same thing, they say he was almost 200 for the fight with GSP. They should make the weigh ins a couple hours before the fight so that there isn't this big discrepancy....either that or make a SHW division so that Brock can just say fuck it and come in at 300. He just has too much mass for 230-240 pound guys. Velasquez is the only guy in the division who'll be able to test him.
bro, i know how it works. they cant make the weigh ins a couiple hours before the fight because the person trying to lose weight to get there will be drained, tired, weak, etc etc etc. every fighter fights at a lower weight. anderson silva is 205 and fights 185, gsp is 185 and fights at 170, bj pen is 165-170 and fights at 155. its an advantage. why would anyone want to fight at a higher weight. only person that i know is anderson silva who fought at 185 and at 205, but thats why he is ranked the #1 pound-for-pound mma fighter.
Well my feeling is that if you're going to fight at 170, you shouldn't have to cut more than 10 pounds to get there. Look at Lesnar when he came out for the weigh ins, the difference between that and when he fought is unbeleivable. It's just too much. If Lesnar has to make 265 for the fight, he should be fighting at no more than 270 which means that's the weight he has to basically train at. Thiago putting on nearly 30 pounds in a day and a half is just ridiculous.....shouldn't be allowed.
How's it different from any other sport that competes in weight classes?

so thiago was 200 pounds during the fight, the weight obviously didnt help him.
I"m not saying it's cheating necessarily......but it certainly helped Lesnar no doubt. I think he wouldn't lose any strength if they held him to 265-270....he just wouldn't have so much freakin mass. It doesn't make for good fights when one dude has the ability to weigh 40-50 pounds more than his opponent. You could tell that Mir trained at his bodyweight......he's just not in the same weight class as Lesnar. If they keep things as is, they're basically forcing guys to put on 20-30 pounds of muscle so they can even remotely compete with Lesnar. ANd that OBVIOUSLY is going to encourage drug use. I'm not saying Lesnar is using roids now, but he certainly achieved his mass and frame from prior drug use....that is a given. I'm not taking anything away from his athletic ability......but he either still used GH or used it extensively in the past. ONe look at his face is all you need. He's not the only one though.
There's no hybrid wrestler that's gonna be able to fuck with him right now.
Only chance is a guy with k.o. standup and good subs, e.g, Fedor or Argloski (sp?)

arlovski is overrated
Brock Lesnar is a punk ass bitch
It's not going to happen........so we have to wait for guys that weigh what lesnar does before we see any real competition for him. No guy under 250 is going to do shit to him, watch Bob Sapp fights if you're not buying that. Lesnar did the same shit when Mir caught him, he just covered up and smothered Mir than lay on him to recover. Bob Sapp playbook right there. he would definitely lose strength. he came in at exactly 265. im sure hes dehydrated and weak from all the cardio, dehydration, sauna, etc etc. and brock was only 275. thiago alves weighs 200 and had to drop to 170 to make weight, i dont htink he jumped back to 200 for the fight. also, dont forget, when you deplete your glycogen storage, then start filling it back up, you have 1.5 as much space to fill. thats why bodybuilders deplete their glycogen the wek before the show and jump up 12-15 pounds the day of from all the carbs. and theyre just posing, these mma fighters need the carbs for endurance for these five 5 minute rounds. n ot trying to be a dick or anthing bro, just stating something when it does sound a bit rediculous.
I didn't beleive that alves looked 200, but that was what they were saying. And LOL at lesnar being 275, not a chance. He was definitely more than 10 pounds over his weigh in, look at the vid of the weigh in and tell me he came in at 275.
And yes of course the way things are the fighters would lose strength, but what I'm saying is that if they trained closer to their fighting weight, they wouldn't lose so much strength. Lesnar is running his camp between 290 and 300. I understand what I'm suggesting, that guys like Lesnar would have to drop some muscle mass to run camp closer to their weigh in otherwise they're cutting too much and would not have the same physical abilities that they ran through camp with. I also understand that alot of that is water weight, but mass is mass......Lesnar is a giant walking physics equation. When Lesnar tried to play ball he couldn't get past the practice squad offensive lineman......that is not a joke by the way. So you can see that men who were probably not quite as outright strong as lesnar, were still able to compete with him because they were around his weight. That's my point about evening up the mass equation. It's not going to happen........so we have to wait for guys that weigh what lesnar does before we see any real competition for him. No guy under 250 is going to do shit to him, watch Bob Sapp fights if you're not buying that. I doubt dana wanted his precious event to end with such a classless display of douchebaggery...
Only chance is a guy with k.o. standup and good subs, e.g, Fedor or Argloski (sp?)
How about Gonzaga?
Wide body who KTFO Cro Cop with a high kick, but is a black belt in BJJ so wood have a chance when Brock takes him down.
Fedor makes everyone look like amatures! Fedor has beaten even bigger guys than Lesnar; who is not a real skilled fighter ,and is going on just size and ego; oh yeah, and steroids. Who ever disagrees is an idiot and has not seen Fedor fight.

dude relax, we all pretty much agree with you that fedor is still the best fighter in the world. But c'mon, if you think fedor's never used anything you're tripping too. I definitely see signs of past gh use on fedor, no..not as much as you see it in brocks face...for sure. But all fighters use, only the stupid ones use anything besides suspension or prop. It still amazes me that athletes get jacked for deca....it's like did you not do your research?
definitely, why wouldnt anyone want the upper advantage? there are so many ways around test and gh doesnt even come up. and also suspension and prop is out of their system quick. i think they use deca strictly for the joints. i know in the wwe, almost every wrestler uses deca, their joints just cant take the pounding from getting slammed every few seconds. maybe they have switched to npp for quick clearing of the system.
well, my thoughts on juice in pro sports is if one does em....it forces everyone to also do them. Pro sports to me is what can a dedicated athlete do with the human body sans PED's. These guy's eat, sleep and train for a living. But it seems like nowadays guys want to live like hammer while still being top level athletes, so they juice. Juicing is for us guys that have to work bullshit jobs for a living and can't eat and sleep like athletes. Just my opinion.
well my opinion is very different from yours. i believe bodybuilders for example, have to take steroids because of their job. they are putting their life and health at risk because thats what it takes to make it in bodybuilding. Us gym rats on the other hand are risking our lives and health for no reason at all, we dont get a penny. These drugs make average athletes into good athletes, and it makes good athletes into great athletes. if you ask me, we are the one that shouldnt be on the juice.

You're expecting a fighter to be civilized in the ring....isn't that like asking a race car driver not to speed? lol
I think you should step your game up.Meh. Death is just the next level.
Yeah, he beat up that old man
By the way, “I might get on top of my wife tonight.”
LMAO!
Personally, I loved seeing Brock represent HIMSELF. He fights like he wants to and doesnt give into the cookie cutter image that most do. Truthfully, if you are that dominant, you have every right to do as he did. I mean, who is gonna stop him?
Ummmmh ... Dana White
That's why the whimpish apology afterwards.

As much as I want to like MMA I can't. From the guy who runs UFC and his pathetic rants online to the barbaric and disrepectful behaviour of the fighters. For me, it isn't a sport but mere fighting. I can appreciate the skill and training involved but there's so much missing from it that makes other sports great. I know I'm in the minority on here but I'd much rather watch the discipline and excitement involved in a good boxing fight than the standard UFC fight which goes to the ground while the crowd chant 'fuck him up'. You only have to watch a show like the contender and then the ultimate fighter to see the different types of people the two sports attract. The only UFC fighter to impress me as an athlete and as a man is GSP.
As for Brock Lesnar, what a f'in tool. Looking forward to seeing him get beat.
There are many world class athletes in the UFC.
If you want to appreciate the way the sport has evolved watch UFC 1 then watch UFC 100.
Lesnar is a manchild plain and simple.. I don't see anyone stopping him anytime soon... I love the way he reacted, it was so entertaining..I love Brock
Did you see the offer from the UFC Fedor turned down?!?!
I can't help but feel that maybe he wants no part of Brock Lesnar. It just doesn't make any sense for him to turn down a six-fight, 30million dollar deal PLUS PPV bonuses on top of that over Dana White's refusal to co-promote with M1-Global.
The Fedor nut-huggers will balk, but if it looks like a duck...walks like a duck...sounds like a duck...
Fedor has always said that he doesn't like the way Dana treats fighters.
