best way to lose weight FAST

hey guys... personally, i am pretty skinny and starting to lift, but a friend of mine who is going to train with me for soccer is very overweight. He knows the most about soccer of anyone in our school, and it's truly a shame that he can't live up to the physical demands. He is damn determined to prove everyone wrong (especially the coach who cut him last year) and lose weight/make the team, and is willing to do whatever it takes. I am thinking of doing something like this for myself; (lift every other day) and was wondering if he should just do that at a considerably slower pace and work up to it... Does something like that seem good? Also, in terms of diet, what/when should he eat? He is convinced he should run 3 times a day, but i told him that would be legitimately dangerous.




Day 1

warm up- 2 laps

line jumps- 2x horizontal/2x vertical (switching off)- 1 minute each

Suicides- 10 yard line-50 yard line (2x)

10 yards forward/10 yards backwards (10 yd line-40 yd line) (2x)

5x Hills

2 100 yard sprints to end off

2 cool down laps



Day 2


warm up 2 laps

Sprint 1/8 of a mile.... Jog 1/8 of a mile (6 times)

2 cool down laps
 
Low carb diet, low intensity cardio for 45 mins each morning and some HIT workouts. If he wants he can throw in some clen and t3 but i wouldn't suggest that for someone who is trying to get in shape, only someone that is in shape and knows what their doing. The drugs themselves wont do anything without proper diet and cardio.
 
6 meals a day.. no more than 500 cals below his maintenance..

still debating regarding amount of protein..

I'm cutting now, dropping about 1 lb per day 4x week

the trick is to lose the fat, but not the muscle, a very difficult balancing act to do..
 
He should do complexes, check these the first two are just to get him started, the last one is actually the one who will give him nice conditioning and help with fat loss.

Regarding diet... how long does he have to be in shape?

he has until next tuesday up until about mid august.... He knows it's a damn tedious task, and said that he would love it if i could give him some advice.

Regarding the workout: do you think i should give him those as a main routine? I was going to have him do what i am doing for lifting, but i am not too sure about the routine i made for myself (running) because i think that it will be a bit much for him. Should he do it at a slower pace, or just stick to something like what you showed me?

Yes those will help him, with the fat loss and with gaining mobility, quickness and will make him a whole lot tougher. Here follow the recommendations he gives away here.

About the diet, just have him stay away from junk food and also carbs after 6 pm, he will need alot of water (a gallon at least) and a multivitamin supp.

that does look pretty legit... thx. Do you think that him doing some sort of my routine (running and lifting) would be okay? He told me he wants to do what i am doing, even though that does look beneficial. I am not someone who asks for advice and then decided to just do with what i thought, but do you think he could do that and get pretty good results?

If he wants to do what you do, let him try. And at the end of the workout do 5 circuits of YouTube - Javorek's Complex I with a minute rest after each circuit of exercises. You can do them too. Just start with 10lbs dumbells for now and build up.

alright sounds good.... Should i do these on days when i go to the gym or do my running? Hell, it will look weird as shit but i might as well give it a try lol.

Actually I did it today after my deads workout, I'm still dizzy from them :supercool
