What muscles should I bring up more?

Chest a bit, lats and tri's baby.

Hahaha, even befoe reading your whole comment I already typed tri's and lats. I guess we agree.

haha yea tris and lats are my weak spot. So lats im assuming is wide grip back workouts and tris is heavy bench or should i isolate them as well?

Do some isolation work too.

One thing that helps me with lats is not necesarrily going heavy, but really feeling the lats while lifting. Mentally focus on them. Pull-ups, and pull downs, as well as rows will all help.

Use a pull-up assist and put on a lot of assist weight just to get the feel for really nailing your back with a good squeeze. You'll feel it well in the lats, and all the way down your back. Then apply that motion to your regular lifting weight, really feeling the weight right in the muscles as opposed to just yanking some weight around.

exactly why i know im an intermediate lifter. I have the mind muscle connection in some muscles but not others. One guy said when doing lat pulldowns, scoot all the way up head forward and pull down with your lats. Beofre i was just yanking it down trying to get it at east behind my head. I had to lower the weight but in the end its better.

ONly isolation i can think of for tris is reverse grip bench, and weighted dips? I can rep 2 45lb plates hanging from me on dips, idk if i should keep going higher. I dont even have an arm day, i guess i should? so many questions lol

For lats, I have gotten to the point where I can just focus on making the back muscles contract by themselves to get the weight pulled. Don't pull with your arms, contract with your back and the arms are just along for the ride. Hard to explain, just do some light work to get the feeling that you can recognize as the most beneficial for yourself. It's almost impossible to describe your mind in this manner.

Isolation for tris? Skull crushers, standing extensions with a bar or a rope. I love using the rope myself. standing overhead extension. Reverse grip and dips aren't true isolation excercises, but they are good ones to use.

if i want bigger lats and not bigger traps, should i still do deadlifts?

for tris i did some rope pulldowns, skull crushers and sipd on 2 benches with 4 45lb plates on my legs. triceps are pretty sore and i really felt them in the back part where my tricep size lacks

Dealift will help your back, but it wil also make your traps bigger, but that's alright.

How about your legs? Let's get some legs pictures up.

exactly the look i want also. a more natural look not heavy one. do you train with 5x5s or you do isolation exercises?

Bro you are looking solid as hell.

your right where i want to be aside from my legs have yours beat.

your chest, arms, and shoulder development are great.

your back development is solid. a little more width on your lats and thickness and you could compete.

calves and quads you need to put more into and you'll be symmetrical as fuck.

your abs are your trademark and sick. remind me of my buddys abs from back home.

just sick genetic abs.

what weight are you squatting and DLing now?

you carb cycling or what are you doing?

Godspeed,

iggy

Thanks bro! Genetic abs for sure, i love my abs. cant wait to get to 8% BF and see what they look like

After this cycle I will lose some size, but later for my 2nd (probably last) cycle Im pretty much just going to focus on Lats, legs and triceps.

Any ideas on how to get wide lats? im thinking pullups since i can only do about 10 fresh which is pathetic.

Im not carb cycling, I dont know how to do that. I wish i did sounds awesome. Im squatting 295 for 8 which is a lot better than what it used to be before cycle, 225x7. My deadlifts have been crazy too, 245x8 to 315x8.

talk to traz, he has great lats.

BK does good for our age too.

heavy rows, deadlifts, chins and especially wide-grip chins should do the trick.

if i were you i would cut and get even more seperation.

then do a bulking cycle.

i would try for below 9% and 200+lbs

you remind me of a buddy i have at home. T.

he started lifting when he was 16 and wasn't that big but had sick genetics.

next year i see him again at the gym and hes working there and he has 17.5' bi's from 14.5 the year before.

sick and abs and a very similar build to you and he tells me hes about to start cycling.

anyways man, my point is you have the genetics. get a mentor asap. someone who is doing competitions now who you can look up and so they can take you under their wing. T's mentor and my mentor was B, an amateur bodybuilder cycling since he was 20. dude has 20.5' bi's and he deadlifts over 800lbs. if he wouldn't of tore his bicep last year he would be doing a comp right now and winning it.

Socrates had Plato, Aristotle had Socrates. So find a known BBer/PTer to take you under his wing to the next level.

for sure bro, i appreciate it. wow if i had the training right on, i would be sick

yes bro.
i met a pro bodybuilder today at my gym.

dude told me he has been competing for 11 years.

he looked sick as hell and had 7 plates on each side shrugging.

he didnt have a partner or nothing but all he does is giant sets....

goes to show the more connections you make the better you are in life.

I have to agree with you their. One thing I like to do also is begin all my lat workouts with wide grip chins. It helps me focus in a little more for wide grip pull downs.
